    It would be much easier if Dahua would have a software that can facilitate access to the nvr configuration. We are not all IT engineers. At least a software for Windows like they have for mobile phones.

    Hi, if setting up router DdNS i would have to change my phone's camera (dahua)app address if i move back into my lan network? Does this still apply if i use the camera's own ddns settings instead?
    My reolink camera just connects on lan or wan without issue as does a cheap ip camera, could they be using that p2p connection maybe?
    Great video and very good information also!

    Great video, will this work with just a dahua camera ...no nvr?
    Config tool...config camera.
    Setup rule in router for camera ip and camera port. Then add dns service on cameras network.
    Will i be able to live view the single camera from the app?

    • @ecologicaltime
      @ecologicaltime  Před 6 lety

      yes it will then you use the camera IP address as the server address in the port forward rule.

    Hi, in the video at minute 13:55 you talked about DDNS enable or disable. What happen if I enable DDNS? As the way you showed you did DDNS in the router more secure, I did the way you show to fill in No-IP it is free only 1 month then they sent me a bill $24.95 for 1 year if I want to continue their plan

    • @ecologicaltime
      @ecologicaltime  Před 5 lety

      you can use no-ip. You can renew without paying the $24.95. You can use other DDNS providers as well.

    • @ecologicaltime
      @ecologicaltime  Před 5 lety

      your ddns is not set correctly. Your ip address is probalby changed after powering up. Please use third party ddns provider. If you have set up your ddns with third party then you must check that you have an app running on your local network to update your ddns porvider if its NOIP: czcams.com/video/l6glvUDwrN8/video.html

    This is painful to watch and too complicated. Just install SmartPSS on your computer and launch. When you have all the cameras viewed on the screen on the computer you are 1/2 way there. Don't bother with the modem settings, port forwarding...IP addresses...etc. Install free TEAMVIEWER on your computer and phone or laptop and remotely watch your computer screen from anywhere in the world with full remote control. You can even access your files and everything.

    • @ecologicaltime
      @ecologicaltime  Před 6 lety +1

      so every installation site now has to have a PC as well as an NVR?
      What about the sites whereby the customer only has an NVR?
      And then the app for the remote view has many more features that are easy to use designed for a mobile format...
