Dovrebbe essere un vanto per la nostra Nazione. Purtroppo, sembra, pochi si ricordino di lei. Tipico del nostro paese. Peccato. Ovviamente in America ed in tutto il mondo ha avuto uno straordinario e meritatissimo successo.. Grande affetto a tutti e due.

She should be a source of pride for our Nation . Unfortunately , it seems , just few recall who she is . Typical of our Country. Obviously she has had an outstanding and deserved success all around the world. Love to both.

She did have a Hollywood career in television. She also co-hosted a CBS series.

she is a miracle. take a look how her body response to music difrent parts (fingers, hands, arms shoulders neck etc.) to difrent orchestra's sections... what a sensational women... what a feeling. i am shocked.
Ho cominciato a scoprire questa favolosa artista curiosando sul web : mi sono reso conto , parlandone anche con i miei , che si tratta di una artista internazionale di spessore immenso : La RAI dovrebbe dedicarle una serata evento . Classe d'altri tempi.
Ma quando mai ... ormai se non sei una scartina uscita da qualche reality o da qualche talent da non più di tre o quattro anni, dalla Rai passerai solo per il "coccodrillo" già bello pronto, una quarantina di secondi zeppi di mielosi e ipocriti amarcord. Ma non disperiamo, magari, per sbaglio, esce fuori qualche filmatino su techetecheté ...

I would have been two years old then. I would have loved to see her on television. She is such an amazingly talented lady! Her sense of timing, her ability to stick every note of every song, her dancing, singing, and playing the guitar, and she makes it all look so effortless.
That's in addition to the fact she can sing in about a dozen languages.

She retired and is living healthy and well in Lugano (Swiss). As far as I know she even appeared recently on her Facebook account with a little video, still looking gorgeous.

As a teenager in this area, this was not the type of music that captured my attention. My loss. A multitalented and beautiful woman.
............. But it has captured your mature musical ear. I was a child of the 60's, {Beatles, etc.}. I listened to what my parents listened to. That was this type of music. I sort of liked it. Later in life, I came to love this now almost extinct form of music. So glad we have CZcams so we can appreciate this talent. I'm afraid we will never see a comeback to this ................

I wonder when this was made.....If I had to guess I would say between 1965-1975......looks like it's live with a full orchestra they don't make it like this anymore.....notice how tight the top of her head shot is.....the microphone is probably right there.

Gute Musik und der Beweis große Künstler brauchen nicht ständig irgendwelche Spezialeffekte, auch wenn uns das in den Silbereisenshows gerne weis gemacht wird.
Schade bei dem Video ist nur dass man da wieder ins Bild hinein gezoomt ist um 16 : 9 zu erzielen und somit quasi das halbe Bild verschwinden lässt..
Warum kann man die Videos dieser Zeit nicht einfach im Orginalformat präsentieren?
Ich denke nicht dass amerikanische Shows vor 50 oder 60 Jahren im Breitwandformat produziert wurden.
Sollte ich mich da täuschen, lass ich mich gerne belehren.Wobei es so immer noch besser ist als wenn wie bei anderen Videos alles nur in die Breite gezogen wird.

Did anyone else notice @6.45 that Dean did not look happy as he came on for the duet? He didn’t exchange the usual banter he always had with his guest at this point but shook his head and appeared decidedly put out about something. And Caterina looked at him rather uncertainly before they started to sing. It took a couple of songs before he really seemed to get back into his usual lighthearted mood. I wonder if something had happened backstage or off-camera?

She's a show-woman and gives it her all, she's a perfectionist and she does it all relatively effortlessly. He was sloppy and made them both sound out of time and out of tune.
He was too drunk. She could smell his booze breath as soon as he came on set. She felt sad for him. She could never have a relationship with him because of his drinking. So sad.
