@@kevinlambert9206 its approximately 68k on the clock looks very clean for just under £7k i've checked its MOT history and only advisories on low tire tread, hopefully i will purchase it mid/end of January after if its still available.

I tested this car, and i have to say I still prefer the new BMW 5 series, for these reasons: 1) The jag is quick, but the ride is't as sporty and fun as the 5 and 2) the unboard touch-computer just sucks! I find this an important factor, because you have to use it everyday. (and btw, i'm belgian so no bias, something you can't say about some car presentors ...)
The problem with the 3.0d is the chronic reliability. If the intake manifolds crack, the camshafts fail or spin the shells, it's a demic. Beautiful engine when it works, but many just won't want to take the risk once the warranty is over.
The 2.2 is not pointless at all, Much less running costs in terms of Tax/Servicing/ Insurance and a very very reliable engine and if chipped can get 248bhp which is the same as the 3.0d not the S and has a lot lighter Engine to hump about, extra weight of the exhausts, etc. And not sure what one one you have tested but mine sounds nothing like a tractor and is in-fact one of the quietest Diesels I have owned and silky smooth on the Go. And the Specs are all the same no matter what Engine size you have.

The 2.2 is pointless. Same MPG as the 3.0d, much worse spec and rough as a tractor. Ruins the car.
