Chiplets can make multicore CPUs easier to produce. I would imagine a hopefully better yield of good chip(lets) from the same wafer. They can also allow for smaller core counts in budget oriented processors more easily simply by having one that has fewer.
You should do a laptop undervolting video with ThrottleStop. Since modern laptops overclock based on turbo-thermals, undervolting actually results in more stable overclocks via turbo, not to mention better battery life and lower idle heat.

Intel: talks about productivity for the millionth time.
Linus: Here comes the monnneyyyyy!!!!
Well when we are less then 1% of the market the chips we get are talked about like that. Business is also a huge profit margin segment as they want it to work 100% of the time without breaks and when it breaks they want it to be the same when repaired due to IT contracts. So Intel has a big motive to make chips for business first. "Average consumers" second and gamers last.
The PC gamers benefit most off of what they do for business as the compute we do with the CPU matches up closely with server GPU compute. PC eutherists just want better and better hardware which the server side needs too so rebranded parts without ECC are given to them. It used to be a seperate core but i think around when when Sandybridge came about they did a merge of the 2 into one.
If space is an issue, could AMD for example use the TR socket size to make CPUs that have much beefier IGPUs? Like instead of using all that space for a bigger CPU, keep the bigger die but keep the CPU the same size as the other Ryzen CPUs and use the extra space for a bigger IGPU?

Omg, Linus, Thanks for the shout out! I think PC's seem to be trying out what consoles have been doing with onboarding graphics. Yet, now Consoles; Especially the XBOX Series X, seem to be taking the PC approach to graphics. What a weird time we live in. To think consoles would every come close to a mid range Gamming PC is crazy. Yet, to know the the Xbox Series x will beat mid range PCs to a pulp, whilst offering a insanely cheap price probably under or at least at the 500$ mark is absolutely unbelievable. What's your thoughts on the Xbox series x? Do you think it may whipe out a good chunk of the adverage pc gamer market?
