- In this vlog we're in Rishikesh, the yoga capital of India. But that's not why we're here. We're here to work, catch up with editing and just explore the area and that's exactly what this vlog is about.
This vlog is about us renting a motorbike and driving along the river Ganges where we unfortunately get stopped by the Police, and what we thought was a completely legal motorbike rental, turns out to be an illegally run operation. We also talk about and show you guys a Bollywood film set which we where lucky to witness on the banks of Mother Ganga.

Get up higher in the mountains. It is so much cooler. Try the Valley of Flowers trek. Super pretty and plenty of places to eat and stay as there is a Sikh pilgrimage site in the same valley! Check it out it's amazing!!

Do you have a international driving licence.?
Nope but the police didn't ask for the license. They were only interested in finding the illegal motorbike rental people . Lucky for us. Next time we'll bring the international driving permit. It's easy to get in the UK 😊

But What happened Why police stopped you?
They stopped everyone and checked papers and licenses. Turned out our bike wasn't legal for rental so the bike owner had to pay a penalty. Nothing happened to us. We just had to return the bike and then argue to get the money back for the bike.

SANJIV VERMA I think he might be sorry the agency rented a bike to us that wasn't legally registered for us to drive, not that the police stopped us 😊
To answer your question : no, my travel days never go as planned. I had to learn to let go of the plan, otherwise I would go mental... I always have this moment of frustration, or anger or freak out... but then something really cool or beautiful happens and I'm happy again... and so on .. then again I am a big drama queen so my mood goes from 100 to 0 in an instant.. :P And Alex, when life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade... just have them with a shot of tequila, THAT will make you feel better ! Hahahaha

Ok so I tell you about this because in our religion the cows is like our mother and nobody can hit them and they go anywhere and fully independent ,
And for monkeys they are a scine of monkey God ( Hanuman) Bajrang Bali so no anyone hit them and punishment is not allowed to monkey in ours religion ..

We actually stopped in Rishikesh to work online and have a break from our travels. We would have wanted to do some yoga whilst there but didn't have time and couldn't afford it. Same goes for the rafting. We're budget travellers, travelling full-time. Thanks for watching! 🙏

They don't have to dip in it. The water is still not that clean. If you see any river in Europe and compare it to Ganga, you will understand why they wouldn't want to go inside. For us Hindus it's holy, but for others it's not.
P Master you can drink water of the Ganga in Himalayan area, because it is it's starting point, when it goes through cities in plain then gets poluted
