I saw an alouette display at the gwelo show, live, from about 50 feet (1980) Amazing if not super dangerous to the gathered crowd. I remember the distinctive sound of them flying over the house at 5am heading to eastern ops a few years before that.
Just cannot argue against skill. Very Good. I take it the Portuguese Air Force still fly these. Any plans to replace? Love the Allo, but they must becoming very old.

I think the Portuguese used these in Angola or Mozambique 40 years ago.
