Very nice explanation Akriti. Just one doubt, how did you locate point R? Is b2R parallel to AB? like what is the orientation of b2R, otherwise it can be any random point

We place the alidade along ab2 and on this extended line we select a point R on the ground. Then we rotate the table such that abR forms a straight line and the plane table gets oriented. I hope that clears your doubt... Keep watching :)
