At 11:43 why did you change the position of point "b"?? Just before that point b was to the right of point d and all of a sudden why did you put point b above of d??

Since these are rough hand drawings the approximations which we should have taken were not followed in the rough sketches. Ideally, point "d" should lie between point "b" and point "c".

Yes, there are chances that the position of point "b" can be as it was before. In that case too you have to follow the same steps

Greater clarity can be obtained by performing the experiment on the field with actual points on the sheet and on the ground.
