  • Here is a complete painting tutorial showing the whole process from initial blocking in layer, through the modelling layers and to the final detailing layer of how to paint realistic white, wirey fur using acrylic paint. This time, I managed to put the whole process into one and condense it down a little. Some of it is timelapse but kept some in real time to see more easily how I apply the techniques in each stage. Hope you find this helpful and watch out for further tutorials. A black fur one is coming. If you do find this video helpful, please click like and comments are always really appreciated..especially constructive advice on how I can make these videos better for you guys. Just keep it nice and I'll always consider your ideas. Also, any tutorial requests are welcome so that I know what my audience (however small at the moment) would like to see. Please cinsider subscribing too if you would like to see further tutorials from me.
    First time doing voice over and I did just use my phone for that. Hope the sound is ok. If things continue to grow, I'll be in a better position to invest in better equipment for this sort of thing.

    Thank you for making and sharing this video! You're explaining everything so well and I love how you don't put the speed up through the entire video, but rather keeping it at normal speed when you're explaining a stage, makes it so much easier to understand the stages. You're brilliant and I can't wait to get to the rest of your tutorials. Thanks again!

    • @TmHudsonArt

      Hi....The tutorials are all based on commissions as those are what pay my bills (Get nothing from doing this up to press) so i have to wait to get a subject of that colour commissioned. I do have a gold cocker coming up... The process will be the same though other than colours used.

    This is so realistic, it looks like an oil painting. I've tried to paint my dog 10 times now. I get frustrated. Did you paint this in one day? I think I try to do it in one seating and rush it.

    • @TmHudsonArt
      @TmHudsonArt  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi...I didn't sit and paint it all in one day no....if i sat there for a good 8 hours though in one day, I could probably get it mostly done but I don't really do that lol...I have gotten faster with practise but rushing is never a good thing..

    Thank you for sharing this. May I ask, what was that first layer, beige?

    • @TmHudsonArt
      @TmHudsonArt  Před rokem

      I don't recall now but will have been a mix of colours...the colour depends on the shadows that are naturally showing through the white hair. The idea is that it still partly shows through when you painted the lighter hair on top.

  • @wildlifeartandphotography7675
