Beautiful! I remember my father building a schooner when I was a boy. It was a lovely boat, but wouldn't sail forward like the other yachts he'd built and he couldn't fathom out why. Looking at the huge fins on these models it's easy to see where he went wrong. He'd made the keel in the same ratio, area wise, to the real thing, eg. Not enough keel area, hence it just blew downwind, sideways.(radio control was not widely available and very expensive) I wish he'd been alive today to see all the advice etc. on you tube these days.
with 27 kg to reach waterline and that waterlength, does it realy need an added ballastkeel, would it also sail relativ good to the wind without? im just asking becaus my one has almost same size, and have not been in water with wind..
je to nádhera, ale asi by to chtělo předlohu s vyšším trupem ? Už při menším větru se to tady naklání až nerealisticky. Střílny a kanóny už jsou skoro ve vodě - jak to bylo u originálu ? A měli na horní palubě taku možnost střílny uzavřít ? Je pro jízdu použit nějaký pomocný kýl ?
Lep model, vidim, da ste morali uporabiti razširitve na krmilo. Imam model ene podobne vašim, vendar ne tako velik, približno en meter dolgo. Sem imel, da bi večji krmilo, moj je v vse v enem piece.not kot je vaša, ki je v dveh delih. I uporabo radijskih nadzor na krmilo in nadzor jader. Prosim, oprostite mi slabo slovaško
