Having a stressful past few days, knots in my stomach worrying about the next day. But I realized something today, I woke up a little earlier and was able to see the sunrise with my dad. It was so calming and I was able to clearly think, and my dad said “today is going to be a good day, not maybe it IS gonna be a good day” I smiled and said “damn right”
Today is good!!
I had the same problem, waking up with knots in my stomach worrying about the day. Worried that my new boss was unhappy with my performance, worried about everything in my job but this puts things into perspective.

I usually listen to these serious motivational videos to help me with getting that fire lit within me to drive forward with my struggles. So I thought I would give these videos a try and see what they could do, they simply takes some of the weight off my life while I move forward and god damn it feels good.

You know, there have been times in my life when the weight of yesterday has become so great that I have a difficult time enjoying today, and it also makes me dread tomorrow. The moment when I realized that all we have to do is focus on today and be the author of our present, we start to notice the blessings in our lives.. and then we start being more grateful for them and acting in a way to see more of those blessings.
In conclusion, we are responsible for how we see each and every day, and because of this we are responsible for the outcome in our lives.

This is something I've only just started thinking about, the things I do have. It's easy to let little upsets get you down and distract you from the good things. But when you think about the good things, especially in my life and you think into detail about what you have that others don't, it can make my day by just thinking how lucky I am. That I have the opportunities that I do, the freedom, the health, the friends and family, all of that. This video helped but that into perspective, so powerful and thought provoking :)

Yeah it's all very nice when you can just decide what to do with your day, when like you said you got the resources to make that choice, not when you don't have any and you have no choice but to just sit at home, like i do working on my music, dreaming what you could be doing with that exact day ! Fighting for your dream demands a lot of sacrifice and that is exactly the hard part ! Till you reach it, you have no choice about your day, you do what you do everyday and nothing else !
