This is PERFECT for a solo or a couple traveling..... I hope this or something similar comes to the USA. No slides, smaller size, easy to park. Toyota reliability in a go-anywhere platform.

@@charliekendall4288 Thats so ridiculous. If its true, then why didnt 8 years of Clinton, 8 years of Obama and 4 years of Biden do anything to reverse Reagans mistake?

Perfect for me! This is the closest thing to camping on a mobile, all-contained level as far as I'm concerned. The interior feels like a cozy little fort - a tent if you will, all within the space of a normal parking stall.
Sadly the US regulations will definitely prohibit affordable trucks like this either through emissions or safety reasons. It's a shame but that's the reality of it.
In High School I had a Toyota Chinook mini motorhome. (Can you imagine the parent's reaction when i picked up their daughter(s) for a date?) Tiny 4cyl, 4-speed, and the cab looked half this size! Great for sleeping in ski area parking lots waiting for lifts to open and going to the seaside without reservations.
Here in the USA the massive RV's are priced beyond reach. I don't understand why Toyota doesn't bring these or bring back the back Dolphin for fun affordable and reliable camping?
That's a unique way of gutting a cave. A real labor saving technique that I've never seen of thought of before now. Fire fracking the rock, what a concept. A lesson worth remembering. Thanks 👍
10 grand for the base model no camper. Probably never available in the USA anyway. But if it were RV techs could build the "pods" of this to make it work too.
Correct. The steering wheel should always be on the side toward the center of the road. When it comes to driving on one side of the road or the other, there are, of course, two sides: the right side ... and the wrong side.
They always look GREAT when there new - first thing that came to mind thou is the skylight above the bed ''LEAKS'' - OOH and it will happen just when - BUT hey finally Toyota putting out a new rig ABOUT freaking time!! COOL!
Sweet! Changes needed; bench seats with pass through to rear and smaller TV. Otherwise excellent. Now if this can make it to United States and coach builders screwing it up as they din c70’s-80’s. 🙋🏼
It looks like the cab-over bed can be pushed up and the partition beneath it removed allowing for relatively easy movement between cab and body. However, not a good solution for quick get-aways if you’re actually sleeping in the bed.
42,399.00 with todays exchange with Thai Baht for the conversion model. Non conversion is 14,133.00. Just checked the rate at 11:43am pst 1/30. They won't sell in the U.S. due to emission standards. Still that's almost 1/3 the price of one here in the states, similar features.
I'm supposed to pay higher prices and fret about global warming while the rest of the world gets cheaper vehicles and can run their vehicles on whatever they want without being guilted into paying even more for electric vehicles? Screw that.
Y la cocina para preparar los alimentos, imagino que sera usando la mesa y una estufa de inducción pero me hubiera gustado que estuviera al lado del lavado para cocinar con mayor comodidad
love this i only wish that it was open to the front so I could walk to the back without having to go outside to enter the rear it would have a bit more room if this was possible, also it would be nice if the driver and passenger were able to swivel around as well. ✌
I always wished Toyota made a Sienna with a high top. This looks perfect size. Toyota could have made so much selling high top vehicles in America, but they just do not seem to want to do that. Even though the pandemic camper craze is over, I still think there is a big market for a good quality and reasonably priced camper vehicle, especially the smaller size for easy driving and parking. T
2 Million Bath in summary? That's 51.800,- in Euro. Diesel heating in the cabin? How much water can you load and how many liters does the tank for gray water hold? The opening to the front is this a step-through into the cab? Up to what degree is the insulation of the cabin suitable for winter? Are the cabinets and fixtures ventilated so that no condensation forms between the outer walls and the fixtures and remains damp? So on the first impression a successful car.
Unless I missed it,, what is the ROOF MADE OF??? If it is that Laminate crap you can keep it.. I want a Solid Fiberglass...The Roof is more important than any other part of the Truck except for the Engine.....
Dang, that is a great layout!! Curious that I see better compact layouts in EU versions of RVs than what comes to the US. We're not all Mcbig sized consumers.
This is a great little camper on a legendary chassis and if it has a 3 litre Cummins diesel it would be perfect. It no doubt will be a major investment , however as the saying goes, “ you generally get what you pay for “ . My daily driver is a 1995 Toyota pickup 4X4 3 litre gas here in Canada.
@@graywolf2694 you’re probably right about the modern diesel, I forget about the Def additive as I have a Dodge 3500 with the Cummins engine and it’s an oldie, 2003.

I second that!
🙋🏼
The Biden government would never permit it.
And for that reason, they will never be sold here
It would probably be $100k
This tiny thing will probably be $110,000 in the US with an addition $40,000 dealer markup on top of it.
With another 10% for “the big man”!
Probably never be sold in North America.
It's that way because Americans are willing to pay it.
No kidding lol

Without dealer markups- this would probably be the price of a fully loaded Tacoma:)
Manual transmission, heck yes & right hand driving, glorious!

Another cool little truck American can't have.
I think an extended cab (4 door) 4x4 version of this would be even better.
Nope, two doors only!
It would be nice if there is enough opening to allow the passage between the driver’s seat to the living quarters.
This little truck is pretty cool.
