I also have been a computer security analyst for 20+ years, and there is no question the majority of computer viruses, malware, and ESPECIALLY the blackmail & extortion schemes where they hack your computer, encrypt all your files with uncrackable encryption, and then display a doomsday countdown clock saying you have 48 hours to send them their ransom demand (typically ~$1,000-$5,000 USD for random individuals, but $500,000 and up for high value targets like government agencies and major companies, many of whom had to pay, as the loss of their files represented an even worse loss to the companies’ financial condition than being extorted for half a million dollars by Russian organized crime.) And they always demand payment in anonymous bitcoin, which is largely (but not 100.0%) untraceable.
You won’t have to search hard to find all sorts of major US companies, universities, government agencies, etc who were successfully extorted by these Russian mobsters.
This is the country that you Trump supporters’ hero idolizes, and sides with on the global stage, humiliating all Americans as he backstabbed his/our own CIA, FBI, NSA, intelligent agencies who unanimously concluded beyond any doubt that Russia hacked our election (conveniently, all to benefit Trump, who has worked for 30 years to try building a Trump Moscow hotel and LIED to YOU ALL when he repeatedly stated on camera “I have no business in Russia. I’ve never had any deals with Russia. This is all a hoax and witch hunt.” Only later to be shown in numerous photos with shady Russian and Eastern European criminals, and ultimately revealed to have flat out lied to your faces - because it was revealed that in fact he had been actively pursuing Trump Moscow well into summer 2016 when his campaign was underway.
If you can’t grasp the irony of Trump supporters calling Democrats “commies”, while supporting the only political candidate who ACTUALLY WORKS WITH AND IDOLIZES the few remaining communist countries on earth including North Korea which Trump claims to have “fallen in love” with serial-murderer Kim Jong Un, who has had more than one family member killed including his own uncle! .....well.... you’re beyond all hope then and you definitely should be scheduling a mental health evaluation. I used to be the email server administrator for a 500 user mortgage company with over $1 Billion in loans/year, and I can assure you the worst spam comes from Russia. Ultimately when I realized that essentially NO LEGITIMATE email ever came to us from Russia, I was able to implement (with administration approval) a full scale BAN on ALL email from Russia henceforth. And nothing of value was lost! And our spam dropped dramatically.
I also have been a computer security analyst for 20+ years, and there is no question the majority of computer viruses, malware, and ESPECIALLY the blackmail & extortion schemes where they hack your computer, encrypt all your files with uncrackable encryption, and then display a doomsday countdown clock saying you have 48 hours to send them their ransom demand (typically ~$1,000-$5,000 USD for random individuals, but $500,000 and up for high value targets like government agencies and major companies, many of whom had to pay, as the loss of their files represented an even worse loss to the companies’ financial condition than being extorted for half a million dollars by Russian organized crime.) And they always demand payment in anonymous bitcoin, which is largely (but not 100.0%) untraceable.
You won’t have to search hard to find all sorts of major US companies, universities, government agencies, etc who were successfully extorted by these Russian mobsters.
This is the country that you Trump supporters’ hero idolizes, and sides with on the global stage, humiliating all Americans as he backstabbed his/our own CIA, FBI, NSA, intelligent agencies who unanimously concluded beyond any doubt that Russia hacked our election (conveniently, all to benefit Trump, who has worked for 30 years to try building a Trump Moscow hotel and LIED to YOU ALL when he repeatedly stated on camera “I have no business in Russia. I’ve never had any deals with Russia. This is all a hoax and witch hunt.” Only later to be shown in numerous photos with shady Russian and Eastern European criminals, and ultimately revealed to have flat out lied to your faces - because it was revealed that in fact he had been actively pursuing Trump Moscow well into summer 2016 when his campaign was underway.
If you can’t grasp the irony of Trump supporters calling Democrats “commies”, while supporting the only political candidate who ACTUALLY WORKS WITH AND IDOLIZES the few remaining communist countries on earth including North Korea which Trump claims to have “fallen in love” with serial-murderer Kim Jong Un, who has had more than one family member killed including his own uncle! .....well.... you’re beyond all hope then and you definitely should be scheduling a mental health evaluation. Seriously. (I have ADD and anxiety, and seeking treatment is nothing like the movies make it seem. It’s way more ordinary and cordial and closer to having a heart to heart with a trusted friend.)
