  • Gila River Loop is a pretty easy going trail that has a few spots where you can chill by the side of the river. Located near the town of Florence, AZ.

    Test your skill,my friends kid did Cochran in a stock 1976 Lincoln continental I've my have done it a few times in a geo metro and a few times in a 1995 Buick century,as well as my 78 Chevy 4x4,awesome summer getaway.

    Man. You just haul thru this trail. You ever look around? Or just at the road in front of ya?? Jk... Great vid and cool trail. You should maybe throw a pic of the map view of the trail or somethin so we can see where the trail is. Keep wheelin yall!

    Another pretty nice trail, I like that this has the river. We just did Montana Mountain last week. I like that area.

    Part of that loop was an old stage coach route

      I don't record my tacks or anything so I would have any coordinates. I will point you to where to get them. I'll post a link, but incase the link doesn't work you can always type "FunTreks Gila River Loop" into google and it should pop right up.

      Its south of Florence, you turn off 79, can't remember exact name of the road florence/kelvin hwy I believe. If you type in Gila River Loop Trail on google there are links with the exact route, look under funtreks.

      How much of it are you in 4wd vs 2wd? Or did you stay in 4wd the whole loop?

      @@Truth-Be-Told-USA I almost always just keep it in 4wd on these types of trails. There are sections that could be done in 2wd, but not all of it.

      Get on the Florence Kelvin highway when you get to Cochran Rd turn north onto Cochran Rd ther3s big bould3rs at Cochran Rd go about 12 miles on Cochran road and you end up at the. River or Google cocran az and Google maps will have it.
