Trail up Black Canyon to Cleator, AZ - February 2023

- From Black Canyon City this is the back way to Cleator, AZ. There was a terrible wildfire in 2021 and the effects are still visible today. Usely the stream is dry or only with pools but, for this trip, it was running like a river. Made for a fun time with 10 stream crossings.

Great video. Been through there several times with the Jeep and RZR. The trail is actually called Turkey Creek. Tons of fun.
Where is the start to this trail? It looks like a fun trip.
North of Phoenix on I -17, take Bumble Bee Turnoff to the Crown King Road and go to 34.16176, -112.16622. You can plug these coordinates into Google Maps.

Hope they replant what got burned away. It looks so empty post-fire. 😞
You can't really replant but we had a wet winter and I expect the area to really green up this spring. Hopefully a lot of desert flowers. Thanks for the comment.
