NEVER, NEVER stop being yourself!!!!! Singing, dancing , laughing....Stay happy, its contagious!!
Awww thank yooou!! 😭💖
@@ArtsyMadwoman completely agreed!! Your energy and excitement is part of what makes your videos so fun. You being yourself whether that's calm and mellow or bubbly and sing-song dancing is lovely!!!
Singing and dancing are life! :)
Never apologise for being upbeat and happy! God bless, and keep cranking out the good content. You can do it!
Well said! I was trying to find the words to make you understand how your wonderful energy is appreciated by your subscribers but @Penelope went ahead and nailed it already! We adore you, one persons negativity does not reflect everyone's feelings. Thank you for all you do. BTW Total side note while I have you, you have spoiled me with the editing in your videos! I have been watching other tutorials for other things things I am working on (NOT RESIN, lol). I am wondering why I have headaches after watching. Today going back you your channel I realized it, the music you choose, the fast forwarding through the work, the lighting and views, your feedback in the end of your own videos of what you liked, or could have done different makes such a huge impact. Your AWESOME personality is just a bonus! So kudos to you for all those little details that make your channel my personal favorite and amazing just like you are. xoxo
Great tips, white Elmer's school glue or glue all works just as well as liquid latex it's a good alternative for people with latex allergies 💜😁
Just watched a video on YT where Elmer's glue is painted on the back before a topcoat is poured. It doesn't leave any sticky residue when removed. Using the glue will be less expensive than latex.
Exactly what I was wondering/thinking too!! I bet Mode Podge would work well too... Has anyone tried that??
The only issue I see is the glue wont be strong enough. The liquid latex holds together better... BUT I do have resin, coaster molds, AND both glue and latex so I may give it a try. Will have to see how it goes n try to remember to come back. Or remember to make a vid on it lol
tyblips please let us know how that goes if you do! I'm curious to know, for my work as well
@@tyblips how did it go!?

My 5-year-old daughter says she LOVES your videos because they teach me how to work with resin and she loves your singing and dancing. "And tell her she looks beautiful" - Xavia. (She is here demanding how I write this comment LOL
Don't you dare stop singing and dancing!!
I'm new to resin and your playful approach is what has made me feel excited and confident enough to start! It's not so scary! It is FUN!
Anyone who doesn't dig the dancing and the singing, does not get this channel!! Audacious!!
DUUUUUUUUDE! THAT LIQUID LATEX WAY WAS WAAAAAAY EASIER TO REMOVE WITH A CLEAN EDGE! I LIKE THAT IDEA! It may take a bit linger but it definitely looks amazing!
I agree! I love the liquid latex method!
Your zest for life, your humor and down to earth style is how you have succeeded so well. Don't listen to the haters. There are far more people who love you for you.
I am 71, loving your videos and gonna go for it on trying resin. You inspire me totally. Thank you for your laughter, dancing and singing as well as your quirkiness! Keep it up!!
I miss your videos from your room! (I think the background looked so pretty.) I've been using PVA glue instead of latex, its heaps cheaper and doesn't smell either 💖
Your happiness and joy in doing what you love is inspiring and gets me through my day whether good or bad! Don't let anyone define your happiness ❤
I dome my pieces exactly how you do the liquid latex. Just push the resin right up to the side with a stick carefully
I just bought counter culture diy resin because you used it so much. I have never had an easier time using resin! Thank you! 💜💜
This video is the best I’ve seen on topcoating! I love that you did both tape & liquid latex & the effects & easeof use of both. Thanks!
Never stop singing and dancing, your joy brings us joy.
Heather, you are amazing!Never stop being you!
Your talent and extremely fun tutorials are addictive! Love your work 💖💖💖
Omg my heart. The purple coasters are so gorgeous. I want. And the leaves look so sick omg. Your a genius and I love your channel
I’ve been using blue tape on the back of my coasters, and I’ve found it leaves no residue on the back of them and the resin just glides right off my coasters! I’m just randomly watching CZcams videos, and I’ve been doing resin for roughly 4 years and I always learn something new from watching your videos.
Thank you for making them! I just enjoy watching💗✨
Those skeleton leaf coasters are just stunning. I can't get over how much I love them! ❤
I love watching you. You brighten my day and please never stop singing and dancing. Lol you are too adorable.
Don’t stop being yourself! Dance and sing all you want!! It’s your brand! You have taught me so much! Resin is now my favorite hobby (besides wishing I could do my makeup like yours). If I’m having a bad day I’ll actually rewatch some of your videos to watch your out takes and laugh my butt off! Don’t forget to do another hubby video segment too. The Sharpie spaceship was fantastic!! My 19 year old even rewatched that one with me! Love your videos, keep up the great work!
I have and do watch a few artist on CZcams and they don't explain hard and soft resin. Thank you for your knowledge and your willingness to share. God bless you, have a blessed year.
Loving all your videos. Thanks for being you! I truly appreciate the advice and inspiration ✨
Have you tried high grit wet sanding and Zona papers for polishing? That's what we use and the pieces come out super glossy.
Thank you for sharing this. I love watching your videos. Don’t change yourself ever not for anyone. You are perfect just the way you are. You make me happy with the singing and being so bubbly. I love the way you are. If anyone has a problem with it well they can just move on. Who wants a grumpy nasty person around anyway. Great video love the bloopers.
Loved this tutorial it answered all of my questions! And, don't you dare stop singing and dancing in your videos!
you look amazing! your makeup looks gorg!! love that more basic info vids are back!! :D
The sparkles in the pink/purple ones
OMG Once Again YOU are Amazing!!!!!!! Sing!!!!! Dance!!!!!! And remember... The word The word The word is a Bird.. Hahaha. I know I'm old and you didn't get the reference. It's OK. I am STILL VOTING FOR LIVE WITH THE HUBBY!!!!!! Just think of the Dancing. Cut he does the Intro Fantabulosly. Yup my word. Giggle. Keep up the Awesomeness!!!!!!
Love!!!!! That you are keeping your singing and dancing!! It is your trademark. 😁😁😁
So happy to know I’m not the only one that struggles with polishing 😆 This video was fab!! 💕
I warm the hardener which is thinner in a warm bowl of water, then remove the mixing container, dry it - and add the thicker resin and stir. Works great. Thanks for all the great tips!
I get so excited when i see a new video. Love you girl
The latex peel looks sooooo satisfying!
I thought I'd made a huge mistake a couple of years ago. Bought some resin and like a green mica glitter. Made 8 pendants and still had loads left over. Thought mmmmmm my hearth and wooden fireplace need painting. Painted my said hearth and fireplace, came downstairs the morning after and omg it had like grey runs all over it, could still see some of the wood through it and nearly cried. Then the sun shone on it and it flashed with bright green sparkles and i fell in love with it. My friends love it even if my mum isn't too keen. We never make mistakes-we just learn lessons x
The latex-version is really great !!!
You are literally the highlight to my Wednesdays. I have said it before and you are amazing. Love your personality and the resin art you make is absolutely stunning. As others have said keep being you. That's why we all love you so much.
I was thinking today, that you mentioned in other videos that you have done other arts and crafts. Is there any you still do? Would be great to see some of your other art projects.
Also how did the counter top at your work go?
Big love. Xxx
OMG! Your out takes/bloopers were positively ENDEARING. In this video you solved a technique problem I sent you an email about so my 2 of my wishes were granted!
I learned, I loved, I laughed! I kept yelling polish at my screen...as if you could hear me 😆 😆 🤣.
Stay you.. there are more of us out here than there are of "humorlessly" challenged peoples of the world. ..
Thank you thank you for this!! I have so much trouble with doming and getting the back side ruined with resin drips. Liquid latex is a genius idea. Thank and you and never stop being you sweet girl!!
And never change who you are. It helps brighten my day
Yay! Love your longer videos
Yayyy! Thank you!💖
Thank you so much, you are truly a gifted lady.
I watch your videos because they are fun, because you sing and dance and your art is beautiful :-) Don't change a thing!
I had no idea you need to add a top coat to the coasters after you unmold them!
I usally make Tumblers & am just starting to get into molds because of your videos 🥰
Clicked so fastttttt 😭♥️♥️♥️ hope your having an amazing Wednesday!
Aww thank you so much! Same to you! 💖
Thank you so much for all the amazing tips!! I've been wanting to resin coat a cylindrical item I have but I'm scared lol if you could make a video about that I would really appreciate it!
Hey H, cant wait for this 👍😎
Thank you for the tips!
I love the idea of having the heat gun pointed at the resin while mixing. Thanks.
Do you have a video that you explain all the different types of resins and what specifically you use them for. I've just recently come cross resin and I'm obsessed. You're literally the only person I watch now lol
watching your videos helps my anxiety so much ❤️❤️❤️
In one of your first Videos ypu asked about your intro dance and singing and i back than loved it and thought you should do what you love. So no, please don't Change and keep the energy ❤
I've had 5 topcoat fails this month😅 the world knew I needed this
Aww haha I hope this helps!
Same here ! :(
Another great video! Thanks for all the info.
Thank you for your valuable advices .. I learned a lot from your vedios. .. شكرا 🌷 ❤
I'm a new subscriber who wants to get in to making resin art and a lot of resin artist I follow on instagram gave me tips but also refered me to you, please don't stop being yourself because your great
Wow, that latex brings me back to grade school and the satisfaction from peeling dried glue off my hands. 😁
God I love you. You're just soo funny!! BTW have you done a video on those STUNNING pink 3d coasters. If not, would you mind? Oh go on, I'll be your best friend!! Ha ha still laughing, polish!!!
Brain farts and words can be hard sometimes 😂 love ya gurl, never stop dancing and singing, you do you, that’s why we love you!
Don't ever stop being yourself girl 🤗🥰
Hey Girl,
I work with liquid latex a lot and if you wanted to give it a go a quicker way would be to dab on a thing layer of latex with a disposable sponge then once that layer is dry (you can speed it up with a hair dryer on cool) dust over some loose powder you could use like a cheap setting powder or even like cooking flour.
Then just repeat that process a couple of times until you have you desired thickness (I would probably recommend 7-10 times)!! hopefully that helps its a little more effort but will have it done faster :)
Also all your creations are unreal love your work xx
You made my day, thank you ❤️
HI, thanks for your awesome video's. I am not sure if you have ever done this but I made pottery coaster and I want to put a cork backing and resin top coat. Have you ever done something like that? Would you recommend using the standard hard resin top coat you used in this video? Thanks
Lol your amazing lol and funny never ever stop being your self we love it
Thank you so much for all the videos - they're so clear and helpful! I just tried my first resin project with dried flowers and it turned out beautiful. One of the flowers was a tiny bit taller and not completely covered by resin but I was already at the max level of the resin mold - is there a way to remedy this? Thanks again so much!
Such a great idea!!! Have you ever used mod podge on the edges for protection?
Girrrrl I love your cardigan!!! ❤️❤️
The geodes are gorgeous 😍
Thank you!!
Love your channel so much! This video will be so useful, thank you xx
Thank you so much!
@@ArtsyMadwoman 😊💕
The “Welcome back to my channel” is my favorite part! Lol
The latex tip is neat!
You look so beautiful with straight hair ❤️❤️
I was wondering: if you are making a larger floral piece (like in your wedding bouquet video) would you topcoat all sides including the back? If so, how would you do the back?
Thank you for the great video! ❤️ Can I top coat the bottom side because it is not shiny as the surface? Also there are Little scratches. Will they disappear with a top coat?
GREAT VIDEO - VERY HELPFUL
The black and gold so beautiful ❤️👍
how are your gloves so amazing ? mine stick and pull on everything . These are gorgeous!
I come to your channel because you are fun and awesome. Don't let anyone piss in your Wheaties and keep being you.
I usually paint on my top coat to use less resin and because I do so much texturing. On flat pieces like this, in your experience, would it make a big difference pouring a top coat vs. painting it?
Thanks for this super informative video!! I’m trying to top coat but I’m always having the same issue: I can’t manage to have a very smooth surface, instead one can always see the lines that I create with my fingers when coating, what do you think could be the issue? Thanks :)
Wow! Liquid latex! Perfect! I have been sanding drips.....awful messy. No more!
Same here with polishing, I can’t get it! Lol. I keep trying to polish different resin pieces, but no luck. Hopefully you’re more successful than me and can show us! Lol love your work btw, take care!
@artsymadwoman How did you get the tape off the next day? I usually tape along the underside of the surface but if wait until the resin hardens it’s impossible to take off in one piece...
Don't ever stop being yourself!!!!
The liquid latex idea.. BLEW my mind.. lol
Thanks a lot !
Hello!
I live in Canada and I am totally inspired by your videos. I am also artsy, but have almost zero experience with resin. I purchased Puduo epoxy on Amazon and tried several times, with careful precision to make pendants - and never got it to set... I’ve been discouraged for months, but I really want to try again.
I am wondering if you have a recommendation for a brand of resin to use that is available via Amazon Canada (eh?)? To make simple coasters, jewelry & ect.
Thanks for being awesome and hello from Ontario! Stay well during these difficult times.
- Nat
Love!!!! First of all omg I loveeeeee your work your creativity!!! 🥺🥰
Okay so I had a question do you have a video where you explain step by step how to do resin for beginners + what I need etc. Lol
I’m looking up videos about I haven’t found the one that teaches me exactly how to do resin 🥺😭
I want to start soon to do it I’m obsessing over it soooo much’ so if you don’t have a video you think you could make one pleaseeeee 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤍♥️
I love your videos. I would love to try the resin you use, but they dont ship to Norway apparently😭. Keep up the good work 👍Hugs from Norway❤️
Hi... so I can use just resin part a and b as top coat? It's not a special kind of resin for topcoat?
If you don't want the small lip on the round coasters by using painters tape, can you use the silacone on the bottom as well? I end up getting resin on the blue tape
Are you using frog multi surface tape for the tape method? Also, when sanding prior to top coating, what grit do you use and do you recommend hand sanding or using a handheld sander? I used 600 grit sandpaper and found that the top coat didn’t adhere in some places (maybe due to not sanding enough). Thanks!!
I wonder if you could pop the latexed coasters in a dehydrator to pull the moisture out.
Can you recommend a brand of resin that is more heat resistance after cured? I want to make coasters for hot drinks, will the hot cup mark the resin?
I’m very new to all this and really want to get started on a project but I have been watching your video’s which I find very fun to watch and educational, so what is the purpose of doing all this.
Is there a certain type of tape that we should use or can I use electrical tape??
Hi stupid question but what is that rubber stuff on back of your beautiful coasters to peel off at the end of pouring resin please??
I'm sorry that someone tried to rain on your parade! I LOVE your quirk girl! You be you!
i bought the other latex due to price instead of monster, boy it stinks so bad i had to put it outside! Does monster stink too? Love your videos Thanks for taking the time to explain everything . Also enjoy your personality very much :)
I once did a project where I used blue tape all over the bottom, and then when it was still very sensible for fingerprints I could peel it off like butter and the little drops just 'tore apart' right with it at the perfect spot. Gotta be careful though not to touch at the wrong spot b/c fingerprints.
Heather, which resin did you use to top coat with? Thick or thin ? I thought too coat had to be like a thicker resin of medium thickness not a thin one I’m confused. Help
