      It’s because Masterchef in the UK is made by the BBC which doesn’t have ad breaks

      They sure made up for it with CZcams ads. A very heavy handed serving with each episode.

    I would like to see the 2 tasters tasting the food separately with 1 out of the room so they are not influenced by each other.

      Yes that is a great idea.. It seems Gregg is repeating the words of the michelin chef as he is not a cook.

      It’s a good idea but the implication is that Gregg just says what the chef does…which isn’t true.
      In later series he often goes first and gives the same or similar verdict as the 2 Michelin star chef gives.
      He’s an accomplished good judge and critic in his own right and has a fantastic palette if you listen to what he picks up on in their food

      He's meant to represent the customer. I think it's a nice take. He also seems well liked by the chefs on the show.

      Greg actually has a fantastic pallet and knows food inside out - not all food critics have to be world class chefs.

      It's for the best that things have changed from the old days, but that was nothing. People need to grow a spine and get the job done. Words are words. My Chef used to burn me mate. That's real abuse.

      Frowned on by people in the kitchen with lower standards. As they learn about it, they will do the same or more. Clean plate on the pass, attention to detail is essential.

      Why? They're the most delicious meat. Mother Nature made rodents to be eaten. They're vegetarians and proliferate quickly.

      They're prolific, eco-friendly and tasty. They were brought to the UK as a self perpetuating food supply by the Romans and it's been hugely successful. Lamb and beef have a worse impact on the environment here and abroad. Rabbits should be eaten more often and actually it used to be. Disney and the cattlemen's association of America done a really good job of putting people off of foods they'd been eating for generations. So if they eat less rabbit and venison, they're in the market for factory farmed chicken and beef.
