WHAT IS MEAL SCAN?
Meal Scan is MyFitnessPal's newest logging innovation, that uses your phone's camera to return real-time, AI-powered food search results that you can log with a tap.
HOW DOES MEAL SCAN WORK?
Meal Scan uses food recognition technology to identify the foods it sees when you scan using your phone's camera. Simply tap to add an individual food (or everything on your plate) to your diary! If needed, you can also swap out food suggestions for better matches, or edit serving size, time, and other diary options.
WHY USE MEAL SCAN?
Meal Scan is a faster way to log food. Instead of typing to search for single food items, your app does the work! Results are quick and reliable, which makes the feature one you'll want to use consistently. Consistent food logging is one of the most effective ways to reach nutrition-related health goals.
HOW DO I ACCESS MEAL SCAN?
Open the MyFitnessPal app, then tap the blue add (+) button,. Tap "Add Food," and the type of meal you want to log, then tap "Scan Meal." Currently, Meal Scan is available on iOS with a MyFitnessPal Premium membership.

OMG, the new version IS SO CONFUSING and ANNOYING! I can't scan, i can't log any food, what did you guys do myfitnesspal?!! So garbage now, going to RP App.
