Plow blade sure beats a snow blower. If for nothing else, less mechanical things to break and a lot less snow packed in the system to melt/freeze/ice-up. I have a 7' western plow on my 4300 (no cab) and built a wing plow for it when I need to shove the windrow of snow further back into the ditch to make room for the next snow storm. Thanks for no music, just the sound of the plow and tractor. Nice to have the cab.
I have an open station 2025r with the manually angling 60 in version of the unit you're using. Works pretty good - I need to add the 3rd function and make the blade angle hydraulically. A cab would be nice too - it stinks plowing in minus 18 F windchill.
Rob I've tryed many different combinations of equipment moving snow, I think the setup you've got now is slick, low cost, low maintenance not a lot to go wrong and your comfortable while doing it, can't beat that. I had 15" @ 6:30 Friday mornin in Walden and by time it was done Saturday mornin there was another 5" to plow, and my driveway is almost 3/4 a mile long, it toulk a minute, I think I put 5 miles on plowing, House is looking great, I'll be up to check out the progress, take care.
I have a 3520, 6 ft plow on loader and use a 7 ft back blade, plus chains. Works well together but spent a lot of time pushing the snow back to make more room if in case we keep getting more snow. Thinking hard about getting the 6 ft John Deere 3 point pull plow if this keeps up.
Nice 👍 the plow would suit me fine ! Nice Tractor as well!

Nice setup!
My blower is a Meteor 68" Inverted ie. PTO driven, pull type. I just need to add the hydraulic chute controls.
