Have seen them several times live, absolute class, these guys are in a league of their own, nothing these days comes close, thank God for The Stylistics, The Temptations, The Four Tops, I could go on ……..
Of course Mr. Brown isn't Russ, we can all see that. But he definitely does a great job bringing some old-school flavor in this new age. When I first heard him, I thought it was Russ, but that's how good he is.

Russell Tomkins Jr the original lead singer did the studio recordings and producers Tom Bell, Bunny Sigler, Phil Hurtt, Kenny Gamble provided the backing vocals along with the Sweethearts of Sigma- Philly's in house female backing group.
THE LEAD SINGER "EBAN" USE TO SING WITH THE DELPHOINS BEFORE HE STARTED SINGING WITH THE STYLISTICS. HE HAS A POWERFUL BEAUTIFUL VOICE AND IS OUTSTANDING SINGING WITH THE GUYS. There is DEFINITELY a DIFFERENCE in Mr Eban Brown's voice & Mr Russell Thompkin jr's voice. My mom rethinks they sound the same. Eban Brown is handsome & he's my age ! Lol.😂
I don't care what anybody says. Russell Thompkins, Jr is a a great singer, but Euban Brown does a great job as the lead singer to this version of the group. To say otherwise is just admitting you're a huge Russell Thompkins, Jr-fan and you refuse to acknowledge anyone else in his position in the group.
Aarion and Herb are master showmen and professionals, Eban Brown is an excellent lead singer of the group, and Jason is a doll baby-we attend at least 2 of their shows when they are in the California Bay Area. "Russel who?

I am glad that both groups are able to keep on performing - just wish I could go and see the one with Airrion Love, and his voice is magic.

DreDiddy83 I don't know the whole story but I attended one of their shows at the old Stardust hotel and casino in Las Vegas. It was the early 2000's lead singer Russell Tomkins came out high as a kite and could not perform. After that I no longer saw him in the group. He is my favorite !
No disrespect to any of their fans, none at all but their is no Stylistics without Russell Thompkins Jr. As far as I'm concern these are imitators of the Stylistics. No Russell no Stylistics especially the lead singer.
