I was there! I was more nervous than Lucy, I needn’t have been, she was magnificent, 15 solos and 2 duets with Martha plus a couple of brief q&a sessions - definitely the most enjoyable concert I’ve ever attended!
Is this an unadulterated live recording, or has, as has been intimated elsewhere, some 'post' work been done to this video before being released?
As a Lucy supporter, I don't care, but there are always knockers who will use the flimsiest of evidence to justify their negativity! 🫤
@@michaelhingley4770 in my opinion, as one of only 430 or so people there, Lucy sounded even better than this recording on the night, the acoustics in Stoller Hall are phenomenal.

It definitely sounds different to the recording you can hear the nerves and vulnerability in her voice in the first few lines of the song which is even more captivating then the pitch corrected studio audio which takes away the spontaneity of her singing. Lucy is truly the greatest singer of today's generation!
I was at the concert. This is live and she really is this good. Without doubt Lucy is one of the most talented singers on the planet.

She really is that good. Just a stunning performance by Lucy. The folks in attendance say it was an EPIC performance (17 songs). Can't wait until they release more. I have never been so excited about any entertainer as I am with and for Lucy! She is something else. So much talent, beauty and charisma...all in one beautiful package.

You can tell it was totally live. Body movements, breaths, and facial expressions were all on point. I would like to bitchslap wings of pegasus and that other dishonest channel that run her studio recordings through pitch correction software and lead us to believe Lucy is somehow not on the up and up with her singing. This woman can sing!👍❤️

Studios and Producers, since Cher released Do You Believe with her auto tune parts, tend to add technology to music recordings with or without the artists knowledge. I get wanting perfect pitch but if you are going to do it, make sure the artist can replicate it in concert. Apparently, Lucy can. 👍❤️
@@THSeaNotes What is sad is people have been programed to be "Perfect" but there is no real perfect as each time a singer sings a song they have the right to make little changes, we do not expect perfect and little variances make the singing real.

Hi Glad to see back reacting to Lucy .This is Lucy´s first Live Public concert although she has done some Private concerts .She sang 17 songs here 15 solo and two duets with Martha So far only this song has been released Not sure how we will get the rest either one at a time or on a video of the whole show. As usual she crushed this song and made it her own .Lucy is as good if not better live than her recordings Compare it with the studio recording she did a 3 years ago she was 16 at the time and it has 5.4 million views. It is on her Channel You will then see just how good Lucy is .She is just the best female vocalist out there today. Thanks for your continued support for Lucy.

Yeah a little sign of nervousness in the first couple sentences, but she overcame it and BELTED out the song with authority !!! STUNNING !!!! Any of Lucy's songs are worth the listen and do NOT over look those she sings with her sister Martha, stunning !!! Martha joined Lucy for 2 songs, WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD and THE PRAYER !!!! waiting to hear their latest versions !!! Thanks for the react !!!
Outstanding start to the concert. Glad you liked it. Many who were there said she is better live than in a studio. Can’t wait for other songs from the concert to be released. In the meantime, try We Can Change The World from her upcoming musical Rosie.

555 This AM 4/16/2024 Lucy Thomas just released her second song/video from her live Manchester concert, the final song, from ROSIE, WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD. And it was her final song from the concert, and you can hear her speak at the start !!! Check her out !!! !

Lucy has done some private concerts, and some charity events live and has always just had a piano accompanyment. Looks like the same piano player that accompanyed her at the BETTS Private concerts, she sang 14 songs there but the sound system was terrible and echoy, recorded probably on a cell phone, there is also some of Lucy at a charity event, live. This was lucy's first public live concert, she has also sang at their local soccer stadium at games.
There are also live recordings of Lucy at Forbes restaurant, on the quayside at Media City in Manchester, outside a family friends house during the pandemic,
Busking outside a shopping centre in Wigan, school concerts and more she is phenomenal in all of them!

OK Paul, that didn't have to be the case with the huge orchestra playing in the background. That only confirms views like yours, but please be able to recognize a voice that is live and, especially at the beginning, a little bit unsure of what your fascination actually is still increased, or are you already so stuck with these pitch, autotune, re recording and views with which some "musicians" try to pillory others even though they themselves, apart from a more or less well-known CZcams channel, don't come close to these criticized artists approach? No offense, every opinion should be respected.
