When I was twenty (I'm seventy-five) something terrible happened to me that was a result of someone lying to me. It destroyed my life (at the time), and led me to commit myself to studying people. I vowed I would never be lied to again.
It was wishful thinking. One does not simply decide to "read people" and proceed forthwith to busting liars. My first decade yielded very little. I just didn't have the "vision" to see. The second decade didn't go much better. I read all the books, studied all the techniques, watched the examples. I could see more than I could before I started, but it was agonizingly slow.
My third decade was better. I began to see, hear and feel behavior that had gone by me in the early years. I still wasn't the hotshot I am now, but the years I had put in were beginning to pay off.
These last twenty years have blessed me bountifully (no work is ever lost). I can smell, hear, see, and spot a liar before he opens his mouth. I know to an absolute certainty that Kavanaugh is lying. Moreover, he is a habitual liar (as is Trump). It is as easy to see as an arc welder in yer eye. I am not going to go into all the "tells" that betray him, nor am I under the impression anybody would be moved in any way by my words even if I did. But maybe somebody will learn from my experience, and study lying on their own. It is a handy talent to have...if one is willing to put in the work.
Trump and Kavanaugh are both liars of the most simple and obvious order. In all my studies, over all the years, I've never had such easy reads as those two. They are among the biggest liars I have ever seen. And I can assure you Ford is not lying.
From what I heard, Kavanagh is super guilty and should not be on the court! I won't have much trust in the supreme court if he is confirmed!

Kavanaugh's old roommate and past friends have said enough about him to show that Brett has shown poor judgment in regards to drinking and partying. Shouldn't a person being nominated to the highest court of the land (lifetime position) be someone who has consistently shown good judgment throughout their lifetime? The top judge should show the best judgment in their own life. So if there's a list of good candidates, why haven't we moved down the list to the next guy?

It shows that your argument isn't strong enough to stand on its own. Second, Kavanaugh didn't get drunk once when he was 17. He turned drinking heavily into a lifestyle that he lived for many years throughout high school and college. This is not a crime, and I never suggested that he be prosecuted as such. You're the one that insinuated going to jail for a mistake. Third, we have a sitting president that the majority of Americans did not want (he lost the popular vote by over 3 million votes), and he has nominated one guy off a list of many conservative judges. Trump has a poor track record of nominating anyone to any position. Remember he was going to appoint the best of the best for his cabinet? Where are they now? They've all quit, been fired or criminally indicted. So Trump has nominated a guy with a dicey past (and I haven't even brought up the sexual allegations stuff that may or may not be true) to a lifetime position in the highest court of this country. I have no problem with Republicans nominating a conservative judge...that's what Republicans do. But as a true patriot of this country, I want nothing but the best for our country. If there is a long list of equally qualified judges to pick from, certainly one of them doesn't have a history of heavy drinking and sexual misconduct. Why can't they pick the next conservative judge on the list and pass this guy up? He's not going to jail...his life is not ruined (as some would like you to believe)...He goes back to his cushy life with money and privilege. It's a job interview...not a criminal trial. You are correct that I would have preferred Hillary to Trump. I was not originally a supporter of either one, and I acknowledge that Hillary has some sketchy dealings for sure. I have voted both Republican and Democrat in the past, and since there is no such thing as a perfect candidate, I usually vote for the lesser of two evils. Between Hillary and Trump, Hillary was the lesser of two evils. I know one thing for sure, we wouldn't have the 3 ring circus in Washington that we have now if Hillary were in office. When Obama nominated Merrick Garland to SCOTUS, the Republicans stalled the nomination not because of his character, not because of this past, not because of accusations. Purely for political power in the courts. What the Dems are doing is requesting an investigation to prove that he is either innocent or guilty so we can move on. Nobody who is a professional makes up a lie detector test with the sort of questions they gave Dr. Ford. The reason is that she can write a sworn testimony to her father or husband or to Democrats and then write one for the lie detector test, and thus when answering the question she just thinks about that original testimony in the morning as opposed to the one that matters.
Also, no professional gives a lie detector test during the day of a funeral, because aside from a divorce there is no more stressful event in a life time.
No people that Dr. Ford brought up at the party could corroborate any aspect of her testimony, and when asked what mattered, and stands out as the strongest in her memory, she doesn't bring up names, but rather living rooms, bathrooms, hallways, a bedroom, and laughter. Her messy hair when she is a professional doesn't make sense considering this moment will likely be her most watched day of her whole life, and her high pitched voice suggests molestation prior to puberty to any behavioral professional making any issue she had with someone at 15 secondary, and even if something happened with a boy, it is unlikely to be Kavanaugh.

According to records, Ford is not licensed in the state of California. A recent search through the Department of Consumer Affairs License Bureau, which provides a state-run database of all licensed psychologists in California, produced no results for any variation of spelling on Ford’s name. If Ford at one time had a license but it is now inactive, she would legally still be allowed to call herself a “psychologist” but forbidden from practicing psychology on patients until it was renewed. However, the database would have shown any past licenses granted to Ford, even if they were inactive.

Why do Democratic men not argue for women to behave more respectful if they are Democrats by asking them not to strip naked in Cleveland, Ohio and hold mirrors towards the RNC there? Why don't Democratic men ask women who are Democrats to behave more respectfully and not strip naked to do rage screams towards cameras? Why don't Democratic men tell Democratic women to stop wearing VAGINA HATS and VAGINA COSTUMES, so that young boys can know they are suppose to respect women because the older Democratic men tell women to behave respectfully in public, for the younger generation's sake?
