  • "I know I am a single, white male from South Carolina and I'm told I should shut up, but I will not shut up if that's OK," Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said as the Senate Judiciary Committee prepared to vote on embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. In a more measured tone than his emotional delivery during Thursday's charged hearing, Graham said "count me in" when it comes to listening to women who have been victimized. But on Kavanaugh, Graham said that the intense scrutiny on the nominee has hasn't turned up a portrait of the judge as a "gang rapist." "We didn't miss it; it's a bunch of garbage."
