    Any chance this warehouse is still in existence and these games are still there? I just started collecting arcade games and I would certainly drive a ways for an inventory like this. Insane!

    If that date on the video is correct , this is around the time when arcade games were getting replaced with the ticket-prize games. I used to always play arcade games at the local pizza shop or bowling alley.

    My right ear enjoyed this. It's weird for them to be using a mono video recorder of this time.
    Are you the original uploader/maker of this video?
    If so, could you please provide some info on this?
    Thanks

    Does anyone know the story behind this warehouse? Like who collected all these games, why they sat collecting dust, and what happened to them later?

  • @Jshaw71
    @Jshaw71 Před 9 lety

    I... I can't watch anymore, I made it to 13:00, roughly, and just cannot stand the fact that hardly none of these games are ON, turn them on, ugh... god I wonder where these games are now, and why no one didn't buy a business space big enough, and make a supercade out of these...

    • @mraiwa1000
      @mraiwa1000 Před 9 lety +1

      You wouldn't want these running with no one playing them. It would deteriorate the monitors and the board.
      The thing is, nowadays people stay at home and spend their money on cheap little games on their iPads.
      Thus running the arcades that still are in business, out of business.

    • @Jshaw71
      @Jshaw71 Před 9 lety

      Maybe I would want them on maybe for a short time, It wouldn't hurt the machines that badly... I hear your reasoning, vut seriously, honestly, if I had money to burn, I would love to own an arcade, and would be happy if I could only keep the lights and other utilities on

    • @mraiwa1000
      @mraiwa1000 Před 9 lety

      Jshaw71 Sure, but I find it a bit pointless having them running with no one near by.

    • @Jshaw71
      @Jshaw71 Před 9 lety

      It might be pointless to turn them on, but it was just painful not to hear a single machine on among all of them...

    • @fawdown
      @fawdown Před 9 lety +1

      Jshaw71 Arcade machines in storage need to be completely checked after being stored like this for a long time. The ones that are not cannibalized need to thoroughly looked over before turning on, otherwise it could be disaster.
