[PRECURSOR MISSION II: THE GAUNTLET]
- Bring two Cerberus Firebats to the Installation Entrance
Since you have the Cerberus team with you at the beginning of this mission, it automatically makes this level a breeze. You start with a decently-sized base with four marines, two Cerberus Goliaths and two Cerberus Firebats. The mission objective in this mission is to bring at least two Cerberus Firebats to the Installation entrances in the northwest; which is placed beneath the enemy base.
To start off this mission, make SCVs and build up your economy. Add a Refinery and get infantry upgrades when you have the resources for it. You can send the Cerberus team to the west to take out a small Zerg base to turn it into an early expansion for more minerals.
Ignore the Factory for this mission as it only has Vultures which aren't that handy since the Cerberus Goliaths can deal damage and tank hits. For your attacking force, a mix of Marines, Cerberus Firebats and the two Cerberus Goliaths should suffice. Make a bee-line for the mission objective in the northwest while destroying enemy units that get in the way. Don't be shy to bring a few SCVs to act as the repair team for your Cerberus Goliaths.
Once you've managed to bring two Cerberus Firebats to the beacon in the northwest, this mission ends in a victory.
