I’m only 14 so I have all my early childhood crap in my room, and I’ve been dying to redo the whole aesthetic, and my mom miraculously agreed to the idea of repainting my room but then lockdown happened :/ so I’ve been relieving my urge to poke holes in my walls and cover the whole room in my art by watching videos like this- and your room is SO C O O L

You could turn the golden skull head into a planter! If you cut holes in the horns/eyes/nose, you could grow stuff in there and it'd be like plant horns. And then coming out of the eyes and nose would be cool, too.

Your stuffed black cat is indeed from the late 70's and is actually a girl cat. Her name is Allie Cat and she's from a UK series called the SS Happiness Crew. The (only) reason I know this is because I've owned one since I was about 3 or 4 and I still have her to this day, so I'd know that little cat anywhere even out of the usual context. She's something of a collector's item so I'd hold on to her if I were you. She originally wore a red and white gingham dress with a red pinafore with her picture and name on it, and little red shoes. Yours is totally nekkid! LOL

Old flower and plants can attract bugs so be careful and don’t end up with a bug and a spider problem!!! This happened with my flower vase once there was bugs everywhere all a sudden and they were so tiny I would have never knew they were bugs if I didn’t look close and have good eyesight to spot they were moving! Honestly they looked like black spots and like the flowers were just dirty!! We had some old roses and didn’t want to throw them away and we wanted to keep them. 😅

Really NICE looks really good with all the natural light coming thru the window. Maybe you might want to put plants coming out of the skull as horns maybe like ferns. Room make over looks great
The skull is a fake one however (if you mean that brown one!), it's made from a solid piece of wood so can't put anything in it! Else it would have been really cool!

Beautiful room! The upper plant is some type of fern, I sadly don't know exactly what it is. Middle is string of pearls (senecio rowleyanus). And lower is devil's ivy (epipremnum or pothos). Old plant is a spider plant (chlorophytum). Monstera's neighbor is a philodendron (imperial red most likely). And ficus elastica teneke near the bed 🌿

I use 3M strips and hooks for my apartment
Same, I've been making shelves recently really easily by using small nails, wood planks (store bought/ salvaged from the lake because there's a lot off old wood) and then you tie a string to both sides until it makes a right triangle shape with the wood's weight added and they're good to go. I wish I could post pics but they hold a fair amount of weight and for longer ones (I have like a 7ft one) I used copper wire and a third tie in the middle. I was a little worried with that one and put two small nails each but they hold plants and books and all sorts of stuff really well and are super cheap (string (I use jute chord) and like 3 dollar wood or free of you have any in your area) :)The only real worry is if you don't patch them right, but all you can loose out on is your security deposit which they won't likely give back fully anyways and it's a whole lot better to be happy while you're there! :) Also they have tiny tiny nails for picture frames that you cant really see the hole for unless you get up close too. I was in your same place literally like 2 months ago and now that I've changed stuff it's soooo worth it! Best luck :)

I screwed hooks in the wooden beams of my ceiling! I wouldn't recommend hanging them from hollow kinda ceilings, eventhough there are special plugs for those!
