How does one accumulate so many bones?? lol Your alter ended up coming out very nice looking. If you like doing the mini vlogs, I'm here for them, if you don't or they add stress, then don't :)
Friends, small purchases, and my own processing! Most of my antlers have been found by me, the fox skull is from Hallowed Bones, and the cat and deer remains are from friends!

You might want to try making a hanging bone "windchime" thingy to hang over alter

I also like the use of the jewelry box to store stuff. I have an altar box (I think ironically I got at Hobby Lobby,... i know but they have had some of the best kind of stuff like that). Giving me some ideas.
I always love watching other's setting their altars it's one of my favorites not only to watch but also have done two on my channel and due to share a new set up for Yule in a few weeks.🙂

I've got a recipe for like wooden spoons and cutting boards, your table wood needs some love. It's a coconut oil and beeswax mix, think I added a few drops of rosemary into the last batch, which wasn't pro for the baking spoons. At least it was only that one batch of odd brownies lol if you're curious about the wood butter ratios lmk
Ps not sure how much work it would be, but those jewelry box divider things should come out. Storing any oils on the side might promote some leakage.

Loving the altar and you are like me when deciding what to put on it at the time. Depends on the season, what I am working on and with at the time as well. But I also usually have all the elements of some kind represented on my altar at the time. Mine right now is multi-leveled and I have a altar board that I made eons ago that I can use to put on my bed or floor to do workings with as well. Love the video and congrats to you and your partner for moving into together.

I have been in the slow process of redoing my altars. Primarily because they became dumping grounds and that is not good for magick. I have had some "health" issues that gave me brain fog and I have been a mental health mess.
My money altar just was not working and impeding my money flow, I believe
and I have so many THINGS on my altar and it was dirty anyway. It is higher than my eye level so it is often hard to work with it effectively. I am looking for an ENCLOSED cabinet to keep things from getting dusty.
I needed some inspiration.. Your video made me feel not so bad about my stuff.
I have ADHD and Menopause and basically a hot mess.

Love the bones i actually found part of a deer leg hoof and all while trick or treating IN TOWN lol odd but i gave it to my fiance hes bigger on bones and such im more crystals and herbs witch do love some though for sure. 🌛🌚🌜

I have a question about ancestor altars!
I want to do ancestor work but because my family was in a cult and the extended family wasn’t, I know very little about my ancestors and I don’t have any of their things! I don’t even have many pictures.
I tried to set up an all-purpose altar for Samhain with candles, oil, fruit, alcohol, water, candy, crystals, etc. But when I asked my pendulum if any of my ancestors visited it said no 😢
They do have a vid about ancestor work! I think u should watch the vid on that and look into ur ancestry is what I’d recommend, hope this helps
Something else you can do is cleanse and place a blank photo frame on your altar space and meditate with a white candle. Invite any unknown ancestors to communicate with you and make themselves known.

This is my working altar! It’s where I do my spells. I also incorporated some spirits I work with & a small shrine to Diana on it.
