Today, 10 years ago, The Undertaker's WrestleMania streak ended. In this video, we recap the events that led to Undertaker's streak ending, why it ended, and what happened after it ended.
Absolutely not Undertaker has been a legend of WWE for 30 years and the streak should’ve not ended what really should’ve happened he should’ve defeated Brock countered the final F5 and pin Brock And then he wins all of his other Wrestlemania matches including Roman Regins and he should’ve retired undefeated
If Streak didn't break with combo of "Sweet chin music+Pedigree"(vs HHH) in Hell in a cell with Shawn Michael as Referee then It should never ever be broken.

To this day, Brock beating the Streak has to be the most shocking moment in WrestleMania History. The gasp from the people in the stadium tells you how insane this was
@@eeeh- he didn’t deserve to win against taker, that’s true. But once they allowed him to become the Tribal Chief, he deserved his accomplishments because it was earned. Not forced.
Imagine if Bray Wyatt beat the streak and instead of saying 21-1 it still says 22-0 except Bray takes up the mantle and keeps the streak going, progressing into further generations
If anyone deserves to beat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania it should've been Bray Wyatt, not Brock, not Roman Reigns. I get that WWE wanted to push Brock and Roman to be the biggest stars but it doesn't make sense at all. With Bray defeating The Undertaker, he will not just end the streak but continue The Undertaker's supernatural legacy and streak in his own creative way since the streak is tied in with the supernatural lore of the WWE. It's the ultimate passing of the torch from one legend to the next. The Undertaker may have been defeated at Mania but his streak will live with Bray by being the new undefeated Wrestlemania supernatural entity. I'm so glad that Vince is gone, he made really bad bookings especially with Wyatt. It makes me sad that Bray is gone, he deserved better. RIP Bray 🙏
The night my childhood ended, no joke I had a close friend since I was in elementary school, we started watching WWE in 2006, the night after WM22,we were hooked, watching old matches, played all the SVR games and of course cheering on the Undertaker. Year in and year out we would watch Taker pull out miracles! In 2014 when Taker was supposed to fight Brock, it was the year WWE network came out and they offered WM for free we watched the match and generally cried real tears. That day we knew we were no longer kids and tbh I haven't talked to my friend since that night, felt like that was the only thing keeping us close. Thank you for the video and I'm still shocked its been 10 years, times files so enjoy the ride everybody :)
I remember watching it ..first Wrestlemania live and just saying “he’s gonna kick out, 1..2” then he doesn’t kick out ..pure silence for the next 10-15 mins. Even during the main event I just kept saying damn the streak really ended.
I cant believe it was 10 years ago , i remember watching it live with my dad ,which he passed away in 2016 it was my final WrestleMania with my dad because shortly he suffer from a stroke and he cant even speak or think straight, then he went into a Coma , after he passed away i just stop watching wrestling out of respect for him , but i still do sometime watch yt and news , i feel sad i really miss him , if your folks still around just hold them tight and save the moment
Brock breaking the Streak to make him look like a real deal makes no sense. I mean, Triple H tried twice and failed, yet he still is one of the biggest stars. The Streak shouldn't be broken. It should've kept at 25-0 and then Undertaker retires. Best of both worlds.
And the video says Brock was a beast because he ended the streak, but the real question should be "could Brock have been a beast without taking the streak?" I feel that would have been very doable.
@@Nebin20 absolutely. Brock was STILL a bif deal. His anger, explosiveness, strength, endurance you name it. Everything was great. Brock was already a serious and strong dude. Even if they chose Brock to end the streak, they made him lose under 90 seconds against Goldberg (who then lost to Undertaker).
I love your videos and pls do more bell to bell videos. I have been watching for a long time. U r the goat of this content. Keep up the good work. Love u man.
Ah yes, the young up and coming talent Brock Lesnar who absolutely needed this win more than anyone, it's not like he debuted 12 years prior as the next big thing or something
It was definitely shocking...no one thought it would be broken, it just felt like a standard Undertaker streak match..that was also the reason why it had the effect it had
@@monkeymanincarnateit wasn't taker kid, it was vince who decided to end the streak, taker himself said in a podcast if there was a logical person to break the streak, it was bray wyatt.
3:06 imagine if Lesnar vs Batista would have took place at WM 30 instead Lesnar vs The Undertaker.Whole WWE today would have been different I guess.Of course it was a dream match seeing Batista and Lesnar brawling each other
It was me, my brother and my parents watching thismatch unfold. Going into it I was 100% certain that the undertaker would win and face his next opponent that next year. when Brock Lesnar made the pin count either my mom or my brother shouted a loud gasp! And then……. silence. We were just in awe and shock just like the audience shown on screen. I felt like I was going through the five stages of grief within three minutes it’s moments like that that live with you for the rest of your life
I’m seeing this after Mania night 2 and Cody won and can you do “A end of a historic title reign” for a video and show all of Romans matches like you do on Bell To Bell
Actually the undertaker was supposed to win that match but Vince McMahon changed it 1 hour before. It was due to the wrestling court so that's the truth
That was my first wwe paper view I ever watched and I started watching wwe when wrestlemania was coming up and I never knew undertaker had a streak at this time and I was confused why everyone made faces until I found out why sad I never experienced undertaker wrestlemania streak undefeated at least I’m seeing Roman Streak as champion
There were so many better options to give the honor of undertakers streaks end than someone who will never really be a wwe legend. Kane would've been the best option imo and a beautiful end to undertakers story
when lesnar returned i remember younger me saw him as nothing but a UFC guy, iniitally his win on taker really bothered me and imo made no sense, with time it really begun to add up in my head
I can't believe Vince thought it was a good idea for Taker's streak to end and especially with Lesnar doing it. Taker said he did the job because of Vince but wanted a younger talent to defeat the streak to benefit from it which is why Roman won at Wrestlemania 33. Although Taker would've preferred with Bray won but obviously that didn't happen and Roman never benefited from it either same with Lesnar. But what was sad that the streak ended in a sub par match 😢. Imo the streak should've never ended at all
Why wasnt it brought up that Paul Hayman has said in interviews that Brock made that decision to beat the streak not the WWE? What if he hurt Taker on purpose? Its during Paul Inside the Ropes interview.

It most definitely was the right decision to end the streak. Maybe Brock wasn't necessarily the right person to end it, but it was time. Having the Undertaker win year after year for so long had run it's course. I celebrated when it finally happened.
10 years later, was it the right decision to have Brock Lesnar end the Undertaker's streak?
It was not right I feel like the streak should’ve been to 30-0 and then he retires
Definitely not, brock don't need this win.
