I can totally see Damien being Anthony’s successor. Alternatively, Ian can just sit back and be president of Smosh and take a more administrative role while Damien and Shayne replace Ian and Anthony as the iconic duo of sketch comedy on CZcams.

Damien has it all. He's got a big range of facial expressions, he's always in the moment when he's acting, he uses his voice effectively and he moves with purpose.
In addition to that, his physical presence is there and effortlessly noticeable, whether he's speaking, walking, sitting or just standing there. His reactions aren't exaggerated as to bringing all the attention to himself when others are speaking, but are still quite believable.
Damien Haas is one of, if not the best actor in the Smosh cast as of now.

He was a highly decorated Liutenant-Colonel back in the Great War. Sadly, like many veterans in this country, his needs fell by the wayside, and he never received the mental or physical therapy needed to recover from the Wolverine incident. He forgot his name, fell into a deep depression, and now lives in a dumpster between Mythical and the office where they personally employ private therapists for all their associates.
