    New sub. Saw a comment in the cleric update. The name warranted a look into your channel. Glad I found ya.
    Playing with a paladin at our table and dear lord … they feel like this invincible powerhouse constantly rolling handfuls of dice. It’s crazy. I (nor my bard) have much sympathy for them getting nerfed. 🤗

    I liked every bit of the 2024 PHB with one, two, maybe three critiques;
    1. Monk's Deflect Attacks turned into a save instead of remaining an attack. It could've connected to their "once per turn" Stunning Strike feature if it were an attack. I'm sure they thought about it.
    2. Artificer or the lack of. Y'know that way the 50th Anniversary of D&D includes more than 50 subclasses instead of almost 50, with 48. Maybe the DMG will include two secret subclasses like it did before. Oh, if only they had secret darker than evil subclasses. Without Oathbreaker, I suspect Paladin's won't be breaking oaths anytime soon yet.
    3. I know there'll be "DLC" supplements / expansions, especially from the Wizards' video & subclasses that had four out of the eight schools of magic. Like the Wizard could've had one subclass called "Scholar" that could've taken some liberties from Land Druid's design point to take all eight schools like their eight lands, and bundle them all together. Since their 3rd level feature Savant are identical except for their school, 6th, 10th, & 14th level, can have a table per School of magic. In this way, this leaves room for three more unique subclasses like War, Scribes, & Time. Then the 2024 PHB would've been a definitive one-stop shop.
    But oh well, I'm gonna get the alternative covers. They look great.

      @@xiongray I wish I could afford them. It's hard to find D&D stuff in FL

      @@RulesLawyerDnD Luckily, the books are spaced out, so it'll be easier on me wallet. There must not be a Tabletop Game Store near you. I didn't think I had any near me either, but a quick Google search had me otherwise.
