HMS Dreadnought was so revolutionary that all battleships before her are now called pre-dreadnoughts. USS Texas is the only Dreadnought era warship still afloat and you can visit her in Texas.
@@SueSueandthewolfman San Jacinto, outside Galveston, near the San Jacinto monument, where Texas defeated Santa Ana and gained it’s freedom. Been there a few times. It has been going through a major restoration recently, as it had begun to come into significant disrepair.
My favourite song from the last album, fantastic song. Joakim's voice sounds amazing, very different vocal performance. As for guitars, both Chris and Tommy are on 🔥 on this album, unbelievably good
Love the dark riff in this song! In one of Sabaton's tour vlogs, they visited the one remaining Dreadnought, in a park in Texas, where it was being restored. Pretty cool! Yeah! WizDoom! ❤ Chris David!
Such an imposing and ominous heavy track that immerses you in front of the Dreadnoughts. Sabaton trying to achieve by telling history is to show the consequences of war and retell the stories. My granddaughter is also interested in history. Maybe I can tell her something about this. SueSue you are right, I learn more from Sabaton than when I was in school 🏫 😏 Thank you for the wise advice 🦉🤗 Wish you a peaceful weekend🌹
Yes, it's about the Dreadnought type battleships. But, this is also about the 1916 Battle of Jutland between the British Royal Navy and the Imperial German Navy. Joakim and Par wrote the lyrics. You're right about not much being able to compete with battleships..... in WW I era. Come WW II though, aircraft were found to be quite capable of just that. Air power and carriers led to moving away from battleships, there aren't any today.
Most of the time I prefer dreadlocks over dreadnoughts, but this was a good song either way! You's lookin' spiffy there, Wolfman! Catch ya on the next one... ~Mike H.

SueSue has a stick slid through a slinky and singing, “It’s fun for a girl and a boy!” Hmm…. 🤔 Definitely “ADULT” Romper Room today.
