🚍 REM shuttle bus ride from Île-des-Sœurs station to Central Station after a service disruption

- On the evening of Saturday, June 2, 2024, a service disruption occured on the entire South Shore branch of the REM.
As a result, shuttle bus service was put into place to compensate.
In this video, I'm aboard a shuttle bus run by the STM between Île-des-Sœurs and Bonaventure in downtown Montreal.
This ride was aboard a Nova Bus LFS from the year 2008.
I filmed this video on Saturday, June 1, 2024 starting at approximately 11:16 pm Eastern Canadian Time. - Zábava
Even in Gatineau and Downtown Ottawa it's becoming rare to find 2nd gens there as well.
I guess they're being phased out eh

Nice ride on LaSalle’s 28-093! It’s rare to catch 2nd gens in Montreal! Laval still has lots of them, including 3 2004 buses that still run!

Hopefully the technical glitch preventing the REM from successfully operating will soon be resolved. Looking ahead to when the Deux Montagne potion opens one can only assume that similar disruptions will be infrequent.

C'est tellement triste qui n'y a plus de série 26-XXX. Ils ont les bruit de monteur que je préfère. En plus j'avais vue un série 26-XXX en 2023 sur la ligne 197.

Il reste le 27-022 et le 27-027 qui sont toujours en service. Pour combien de temps encore je ne sais pas mais ils sont au C.T. Anjou

@Sky of the Universe j'ai vue un 27-522 ou 528 je me rapelle plus. Mais si tu veut voir plus de bus gen 2 vas sur la ligne 18 Beaubien. Il y a beaucoup de série 29-XXX et des gen 3.

@@SkyOfTheUniverse Just saw that the sign on that bus says "Notre-dame-de-Grâce" which is weird since the 138 line doesn't go to Nuns' Island. That reminds me of the 211 line doing school service going to my high school in Lachine. That was an unusual experience since the 211 would normally depart from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue and end in Westmount. I like the surprises and weird things that life brings.
