WHEN ARE YALL GONNA INDUCT SHAUN ALEXANDER TO THE RING OF HONOR 🗣🗣
I don't remember much of this game, but this, to me, was the game that gave you boys a big boost of momentum heading in to the playoffs that season.
By the way, I don't think I've seen a more beautiful throw from Russ than what I saw at the 2:27 mark. That was a stellar pass. In fact, all of russ's throws were stellar and flawless.
Seth Kraai Russell Wilson has aimbot but in real life
You can have your week 6 win. I'll take my week 21 win.
It was born against him and died against him.
@Tcs 10s Ricardo Lockette. If you closely watch that play. You'll CLEARLY see Ricardo jogging his route and he was one the fastest receivers in the NFL. You can say whatever you want, but Ricardo didn't fully execute his route like he was supposed to and in '15,Karma hit him vs Dallas.
Dude.

Big Facts
Hard to believe that this was Wilson's rookie year and the following year he won the superbowl.
He won us this game .
MrSacra916king he did not win that super bowl the defense did
Ain't know team in the NFL something without there qauterbacks . That's who get the ball down field .You see how Baker Mayfield got better ,he throw zip balls the camera can't keep up with .Brett farve Matt hassle back style(The laser ball Boyz )that's what I call them two or shall I say three you see how Tom was getting that ball to Edelman last year down field and won the Superbowl with 1:58 left in the 4rth!!!! strong arm zip ball man!!!!!!! .He needs more receivers that's fast.Take knotes from the field general die hard fan .A zip ball thrower can be a heaven of a hailmary qauterback that get you out the back field into enemy territory quick .The offensive coordinators know how they minipulate defenses .Do a couple of runs, shortfield passes and before defense realizes it boom that bitch down field .excuse my language but it is how it be!!!
Then he had a chance to win another against New England, but decided to pass

They looked like a dynasty after making the Super Bowl 2 consecutive seasons with that defense, but then... that infamous play happened and destroyed that 'would of been' dynasty
Nawww patriots woulda been to the superbowl 3 more times after it and most likely probably would have won all them.

He's only underrated to those who cant see what a beast he actually is thats all

I can't believe that the Pat's had Welker, Lloyd, Branch, Gronk, and Hernandez all on the same team. That's pretty impressive.
King Ape Can't forget Edelman, being a Super Bowl MVP now and sich.
Except Welker, Lloyd and Branch were all getting old by that point. Only Welker was still in his prime. And Gronk and Hernandez only played 10 games that year.

That’s what this game is known for, plus I’d argue the LoB was either born with Thomas and Chancellor in the Beast Quake game in 2010 or when Browner, who nicknamed them the LoB, came along in 2011, before Sherman’s “you mad bro?” in this game.

That Seattle dline was deadly! Four man rush towards the end of game and still got major pressure. I love watching Clemons spin move.
As someone who is not a seahawks fan, I gotta say that it was a crime that the legion of boom went out the way they did. They deserved to live in immortality like the steel curtain as apposed to going out the way they did...going out with a whimper.
I have no doubt that if they ran on the goal line, the Seahawks would probably have been a dynasty.
Ah, they didn't deserve to even be in that SB, much less win it. It's better this way.
I love this announcer
Ian Eagle? Oh, yeah. He's really fun to listen to. One of my favorites, in fact.
This pats offense was crazy. they averaged 35 a game and to this day they’re 5th all time in PPG and 4th all time in yards per game (the 2012 patriots.) And the patriots from 2010-2012 scored the most points all time by any team in a 3 year stretch and gained the third most yards all time in a 3 year stretch. They’re also the only team to ever average 32+ points per game In 3 straight years.
Didn't they average more than that in 2011?
Greysen Gagne nah they averaged 32 in 2010 and 2011 but they averaged more yards by 1 yard per game in 2011
Yeah they had Gronk n Hernandez which were unstoppable n welker in the slot. They just were terrible on defense
Montae Lewis yeah true they didn't really have a defense at all from 2010-2013
Jack Young they were good, but a little overrated tbh. Yeah they were fun to watch, Brady was a stud, and they had good play makers, but they choked big time in the playoffs during that stretch, but they’ve won 3 SBs since 2014 so I suppose it doesn’t matter lol
As a 49ers fan this is one of my favorite games ever.
I remember later that season we were crushing the Patriots in Boston, but we let 'em close the gap, got the job done at the end. A week later the Seahawks completely destroyed us.
The 2012 season is the most memorable for me, alongside the 2019 season (as a 27 years old 49ers fan), pretty damn close to get that 6th ring.
You guys looked better in 2011 tbh, if not for Kyle Williams, you would have won it all that year. I still think benching Alex Smith in 2012 was a mistake. He owned Seattle, but after he was benched and let go, Seattle owned San Fran, even though both were great teams. And his veteran presence would have helped against Baltimore in the SB.

I went to this game. Flew all the way out there from Massachusetts. Seattle is a fun city. That stadium is loud!!!
Russell for MVP hes setting and tieing all time records people
I still can’t believe they didn’t run the ball
Its actually a great playcall. It was 2nd down with 1 timeout remaining with only about 20 seconds left on the clock. If they run the ball and don't make it (reminder that lynch was 1 of 6 from the 1 yard line against goal line defense that year) then they are forced to call a time out and now the Patriots know for sure they are passing it on 3rd down because there wouldn't be enough time to risk running it again and run out of time. Only about 1% of passes from the 1 yard line were intercepted that year, so they were thinking worst case scenario would be an incomplete pass which stops the clock and now they can either run it or throw it on 3rd down and still have enough time to run a play on 4th down if need be as they have a timeout left.
Also it kinda equals out as most people seem to forget the extremely lucky kearse circus catch that allowed them to get so close

That NE TE and WR core + Brady my god ....
Brady did look good with that helmet
Great content 😱
Hawks fan here checking in about a week after Carroll was fired. Why was he fired? Consider this:
The Legion of Boom in this game were three players on rookie deals: Earl Thomas (1st round), Kam Chancellor (4th round), and Richard Sherman (5th round). The fourth, Brandon Browner, was a CFL retread on a "prove it" salary. It's one of, if not the, best starting four secondary groups to ever play in the league. And it was dirt cheap, which allowed the team to invest in free agents elsewhere.
Compare that to this last season, when Seattle was paying their safety group more than anyone else in football, paying three veteran starter contracts (Adams, Diggs, Love). All of them were poached from other franchises at high cost (especially Adams, who cost two number one picks), and paying them so much meant there wasn't as much left to go after other free agents.
Pete Carroll went from the "always compete" guy with a reputation for developing secondary talent on the cheap to a guy who had to pay top dollar to recruit it, and even after paying all that talent the defense still plays at a below-average level.
And that's why he's no longer the head coach. Love the guy because he brought us our first championship, but when a team finishes 31st or 32nd in terms of offensive time of possession three years in a row, as Seattle has done from 2021 to 2023, it's time for a change.
I missss them alll😭😭😭
