I just broke no contact. It happens, push through it.
I broke 18 months long no contact. But I don't regret it at all. I was thinking too much about her, whether she wanted to hear from me. Now I have my answers and my peace. Life as usual, she wasn't in my life for the past 18 months, she won't be in the remaining life. Nothing changed.

Fault? Interesting choice of words there. There could be a number of reasons as to why they broke up. Perhaps there was/is something going on with the 'ex-boyfriend' Something inside of him. Therefore, it has nothing to do with her . It would be him. Again, there could be any number of reasons for their breakup, neither of which would be anyone's fault. Fait accompli

Jane Doe I know what you mean. Nearly three months into NC, and there's already about a hundred things I would have shared with her, told her about, etc. I still have times where I'm like "Oh, I can't wait to tell her about... oh yeah. We're not speaking." This shit is rough. But then, I remember that I was her best friend too, so eventually, I would think she would start to feel the same way. I wouldn't even be focused on getting her back right out of the gate. I just want to start talking with her again. About small, everyday stuff. I think it's extra rough on people like us who shared such a strong, close bond, and were SO compatible that you shared EVERYTHING with each other. I had a stronger friendship with her than I do with any of my guy friends.

when we broke up, it took me a month to finally start no contact. it's almost a month now since we last talked and i'm feeling better! i still miss him, but i have realized now that i can live without him

UGH. I broke no contact after being in NC for over 60 days. Of course... all the emotions came flying back and my ex, although telling me he loves me and that he misses, had told me to move on. FML. So for all of you watching this.... DO NOT BREAK NO CONTACT. I think I will be doing a coaching session soon.

-Long distance (possibly main reason for the breakup) and getting back together one day.
-When the ex is too stubborn or ashamed to reach out after he dumped you.
-When they finally break no contact but it could be out of curiosity or to have their ego stroke etc. How to tell if they are still interested romantically?
-How to deal with the resentment that they have not contacted you to ask how you are doing.

Id did also reach out after 7 Werks because LoveAdviceTv told ist, after a Short Term Relationship(3months)
She wrote me in several minutes and we also phoned for 50 minutes Till i Ended it.
I wanted to Meer up, but she Said That i am in friendzone. So i said no that is not what i want, and she should reach out to me if she changes her Mind. She said her rule is Never again with an ex and if i do not want to be friends she will never contact me again. I said that if she changes her mind, than she should reach out, i am not her friend.
So i went back in on Contact.

I just did after a few weeks but it was due to tornado warnings in the area. At first I felt bad about it. Now at least listening to this gives me some hope

I moved all my items out of the house we rented. We have a son together and we work together..
I did the no contact with her for 3-4 weeks and she played that same game well. The day I asked about my son and how he was doing, she opened back up to me and was happy and giggly when talking to me. I’m not texting her outside of work or about anything else UNLESS it’s about my son.
I’m calm and collective with her, I DO NOT show her that I miss her or tell her or beg her to get back with me. I hope she’s a change in attitude and positivity.
If they disrespected you, blocked you and left you, initial contact has to come from them. It means they've had a change of heart.
I broke no contact today sending her an email about things I haven’t done to help in the relationship. I didn’t ask her to come back, I only said she deserves better. Well I mess up but life goes on anyways. No end of the world.

I did an email coaching after one month of the break up, 4 months now of NC, she left for someone else, about 3 months ago I checked her Facebook, I think this was me breaking no contact (indirectly) but it went directly to my heart lol... So I keep working on my self, I don't know anything about her, not a single thing, and after all this time I still think about her and the freaking... What if... Stay strong people, NC is for healing only, at some point the need to be OK will be more powerful than wanting her/him back, imho this is when true healing happens.

@@marcelpagnol90 She didn't respond because at the time she was busy getting with someone I used to call a "best friend". Double betrayal and I've not met anyone or wanted to meet anyone since. Took me 8 months to come to terms with that but now I'd like to meet someone new. I miss companionship and want to build something real and long-lasting. Where that person will come from in pandemic times, I've no idea!

Do you know what's hard? Doing no contact on someone that keeps contacting you, sending you ig videos, mêmes and responding to your stories on relationship unrelated topics. I started no contact and 4 days after he sent me a link for a video. Of course I never initiate, but it gets me kinda angry. He doesn't want me back at all but also won't just leave. What a jerk right ? I never keep the conversation going and never initiate, so I think I'm doing right. But it hurrttss!! Everytime he reaches out again, I feel I take a step back.
Same situation, they are selfish and its difficult because they keep calling texting when they want but still don't want you. That's insensitive you deserve better and I'm also trying to move on. It will be better
I tried and broke no contact 3 times during the month after the breakup. It was really ridiculous. But after 3 months, I wish I had been strong enough initially.

Update: I sought therapy to work on myself and focused on myself. Eventually I didn't want to get back in the relationship: it gave me more stress and anxiety than it should. I met someone new unexpectedly and it's been a year already. This current relationship has showed me how it should be and I'm glad the past relationship ended

Sometimes we go through all this videos thinking that our dumpers were at fault, but most of us dont realize that we, too, are the reason they fell out of love. It dawned upon me that I wasn't the same man my 2 yr gf(now-ex)dated since we started. I changed into someone she wasn't attracted to. I failed to become her consistent lover. Today, 2 weeks have past since our breakup. I will try to break the no contact. I sent her little gifts of apology but without the begging and pleading. I also tried to add her back on fb yesterday yet she hasnt accepted me back. I can send her messages but I'll wait til she accepts my request. My dumper is stubborn so I would help her to somehow reach out when she's ready. When I get my chance, I'll start talking to her nicely about how she is going and feeling. I'll focus on her emotions. Hey bro hope you're doing well.. well I won't suggest you doing that.. believe me I was in the same situation.. my ex broke up with me in the end of October month and I broke no contact of 7days and befriended her . .. I apologized to her for my unproductiveness and irresponsibilities.. in those 1 and half months j couldn't handle her hot and cold behavior so I walked away politely because she told me she's not interested and love me anymore... Unfortunately I broke no contact today. It’s been few days after her birthday, and I felt so bad for not wishing her on the day, so today I sent her a text saying I didn’t forget about her birthday, just didn’t know if I should reach out and told her that I thought about her on the day and that i sent her my positive energy.

It was 3 1/2 days and I broke no contact. We used to text each other everyday. Then he broke up with me and it went into radio silence. It was not easy. My skin was crawling. So I texted saying hi to my ex and asked how has work been. He broke up with me because he has no time for me because of his work schedule at a hospital. He works all the time. He answered my hello text within seconds. We then had a casual conversation talking about how we are. We talked about a lot of trivial things. I felt relief but I'm sure he is relieved too that I spoke to him after he broke up with me. He thought I would be angry at him but I'm not. But what do I do now? Go back into no contact? Will this work now that I messed up? I love him very much. I want to be back with him. I don't want to fall into the friend zone situation which I feel he will do.

@@MikeJackson690 Use your anxiety to do things. I personally first made a list of things I needed to do. Cleaning my flat was something very concrete. Started to take long walks, to eat less and more healthy. Got a new job. Went back to gym. Started to learn more about breakup, dating and relationships. Started to contact and spend more time with my friends.
To put it shortly make things that improve your life. Take care of little things you have not done. This makes you feel go forward and accomplish things.
Also you seriously have to ask why would you spend time with someone who does not want to see you. You don't do it otherwise in your life and should apply the same standard with your ex
@@Electronite1978 You know, I was just thinking of writing a list but more to work out who the hell I am and what I like to do. I don't know myself at all. I recently went on a date and she asked me, 'tell me about yourself' and I sort of dodged it. I haven't got a clue. Spent so much of my time basing my life around someone else that I've lost any independent identity. The worst part is that I didn't realise this when with her. I thought SHE was the one who was dependent, not me.
Anyway, similarly, I have a house to clean and sort, I need to get back to regular exercising / gym and keep improving my photography. I just don't have the motivation. Everything seems pointless without her :-\ I barely enjoy playing video games any more and can't remember the last time I picked a golf club up.
As for your last point, that struck me. You're right, but I can't help but miss her. It's tough.

Sadly I broke no contact, only because she had messaged me and said to let her know when I'm ready to talk, it was not anything but a friendly catch up call, but now I wish I had not, she seems well and all told her about how nice things were going.

What if he broke up bc he couldn‘t be with someone who didn‘t trust him? He did not wanna break up but he said that his feelings changed and he doesn‘t know if he loves me anymore. My ex acted cold and distance, some coaches advise to act the same way, but I reached to a point that made me ignoring here for 3 days. She kept ignoring me back to a point that she broke up with me. I reached out after 2 weeks of NC, because I kept blaming myself that it was my fault. She responded and I apologized, her answer was there's nothing to opologise about... I tried to text and call her again she wasn't responding. I'm in 10 weeks NC, they didn't reach out yet..

I still have not contacted her (stalk her, yes) and she seems so happy that, all I can do is wish her well. I still think about her from time to time.. As far as trying to get her back..... I don't think so. I know that I am a very different person now, comparing to the insecure, drinkeveryweekend guy that I used to be. Besides.. I have learned more from that breakup than any other relationship that I have ever had and probably will have. The impact she had on my life has been the most meaningful one, but I honestly believe that the positive impact came more so, from the breakup than the relationship itself. Every relationship and breakup is different. Because not too long ago a girl that I dated when I was 19 and complete broke my heart reached out to me out of nowhere .... so like the true saying goes. I need to ask you something. Can you do a video for the Dumper. I'm the one who ended the relationship and it hurts just as much as if I'd had it done to me. I had no choice because I couldn't take it anymore. 🍒
Call him, he will be over the moon believe me, sometimes the dumper do not realise what the dumpee is going through. I wish my ex can contact me who was the one who dumped me and I would do anything for her to reach out to me. Reach out to him. We learn from our mistakes and I am the type of person who believes everyone deserves a chance to correct their mistakes, give him that chance.
I broke NC today just after 1 week and she has blocked me on messenger and phone. I asked to be friends on Facebook, then canceled (but I know she probably saw the notification) then said "hey" on messenger. No reply. Sent another message saying I was just going to let her know I was removing her from my spotify account and giving her a heads up but the message reads "sent" but not delivered, like the one before....
So I guess I'm blocked now.
But honestly, if that's ALL it took, I must not have mattered much anyway. Truly didn't think she'd do that so easily but I was wrong. So at least I know I dont need to waste my time worrying. NC again and focused on myself.

I work with my ex girlfriend. She ghosted me after 11yrs being together. I helped raise her son! In which he works at my job to! As well as her sister. What if they are going through a hard time, my ex broke up about two weeks ago because she is going through depression and she is in a dark place and she said she is going to look for therapy, she contacted and told me in text after 5 days of nc, we talked on the phone and told her I respect her descicion and that that I’m there for her, she was crying and asked me to try to move on, and that I should promise her that I’m gonna try and that I’ll be fine. We ended the call and then texted her after this call like 6 days after because I’m worried for what she is going through. Does no contact work on this situation ? Or should I just not contact at all?

I really like your videos about getting your ex back but I kind of had a different situation and I really needed help.
So, I had been dating this girl for 2.5 years. The last 1 year we were doing long distance since we went to college in different countries. But after 1 year, I really got busy with my life and she started getting too insecure and clingy, and started getting indecisive about the relationship, so I decided to break up with her. Initially, for the first 6 months, I didnt really feel anything as I was super busy with my life. But she was really sad and started telling my friends that she missed me. However, after 6 months, she started meeting other guys and going to clubs a lot. It was at that point that it all started hitting me. I was devastated and badly wanted her back because I knew she still had feelings for me (my friends told me she cried when she got drunk and said she missed me). So, I decided to call her and she responded really nicely and even flirted with me and hinted that she wanted to get back. We had a nice long conversation and she seemed interested to get back. But after that conversation, she started acting distant again and kept leaving me on read. Finally 3 days later, she said she didnt wanna get back. I was heartbroken. I didnt beg her but did try to convince her to continue with this relationship. But she didnt agree and didnt pick up the phone. So, I let 1 more week pass and called her again. She picked up but this time she acted really cold and talked to me just as a friend. She said she got over me. I asked her why she she acted so nicely the other day when i called her and she said she did want to get back but then learned from others that I had shared some of our personal experiences with my friends which was actually true. So, I apologized sincerely and said I would never do such a thing again but she didnt agree. But she did admit that she had a little bit of feelings left but she was trying to ignore that because she didnt want to date me rn. Its been two weeks since and I just cant get over her. I am trying no contact but since we already had a 6 month break, I was wondering if this was the way to go. Please help me because I really believe she is the one for me and I really love her. We were always loyal to each other and I am sure things are gonna be better if we get back. I hope you can come up with a solution to this.

Yep, i broke no contact after like... 10 days? But that was because she wrote something on internet which hurt me a looooot. Now, it is her who is reaching out, but so far in regards of technical issues and bills which we still share.

1 week no contact I feel like crap maybe because I know he won't return. Whenever we disagreed in the past I would intiate us talking he wouldn't. The day after we separated I text him explaining my side and apologising. His text was alot more logical, no apologies but telling me I lacked self care and respect for leaving his house at night after he disrespected me. Said we both needed this time to grow and the relationships was a burden due to constant disagreements. Ouch 😔 I just want to forget

CirculoPro no judging here, but 2 years is a long time to accept that kind of treatment. Why are you going to apologize for how you feel? This probably isn't what you want to hear but have some dignity and cut him lose. I mean it in the most respectful way possible. He has gotten comfortable in the situation and has no need to change this since you were willing to go with it. I think maybe you thought he would eventually decide to make it official, but it's painful obvious that isn't going to happen. You deserve someone that wants to be with you in a serious way.

You broke up with him. You should reach out if you want reconciliation. Your first time reaching was too soon as he was likely still feeling hurt and angry. 5 months should be enough time for him to heal. He should ask you out on a date when you reach out and you must agree to his terms. After that, you show up looking pretty and let him turn on his charm.

I just accidently texted my ex replying to a text she sent IN JULY THAT HAPPENED TO HAVE BEEN LOCKED IN MY MESSAGES AND DIDN'T GET DELETED WITH THE REST OF THEM!
