This individual at least sounds remorseful, that’s more than most people. Some people can’t and won’t recognize or take any accountability for their actions. Mine won’t even acknowledge or try to understand, sure he reached out, but that means nothing.

Yeah some people won't regret their actions but there are people who genuinely feels bad for their actions especially if there's no abuse or cheating and sht like that, it's good to give it another chance
We all have our own lives to live and we can't let everything be about you or someone else

similar to my situation. needed this. in these types of situations its tough to rationalize nc because it seems so similar to the problem of neglect that created the issues in the first place, and it seems like such an important decision you don't want to screw it up if your situation is somehow different

Great advice. I had this happen to me - she gave up on the relationship and then went off with someone else, and is now married. It hurt like crazy, I begged and pleaded for far too long. You need to let them go, have no regrets - you tried to get them back. It wasn’t right for you at the time. Work on yourself, get busy with passions in life and if she comes back great, if not - you’ve come out of it a better person!

If she went off with someone else and now married to them im 85% sure that marriage isn't gonna last. My ex did the same thing, left me for a another guy and got engaged/married to him. The marriage only lasted a year and a half while ive been in a happy relationship for almost 2 years (2 years this July).

Thanks guys - yeah the initial breakup was my fault as I wasn’t putting much into the relationship as I wasn’t really present. We broke up for a bit, she went abroad - and just around the time I started to really fall for her and she was coming back - she announced she had met someone else. I begged for far too long but I think deep down she enjoyed it. She then proceeded to treat me like utter crap to justify her decision to herself and I stupidly allowed it and still tried to get her back. I’ve finally accepted it (although it hurts a bit still years later!) and have removed myself from social media, deleted her number, deleted my WhatsApp account (where we used to chat and I’m pretty sure she was spying on the whole online thing even when married) - which is the best thing I could have done. It was hard, but it has really helped to move on

      It will eventually fail
And people who jump to other relationships aren't even thinking straight, they are emotionally unstable, frustrated and trying to distract themselves cause when we're alone those thoughts will come rushing in and will f you up real bad

I feel like I'm the dude calling in, the exact same scenario. The mother of my daughter left because I failed to commit all the way with her, I'm regretting so much taking her from granted. Take care of your ladies fellas, man should love her woman all the time. God bless y'all

I neglected her. I went through a severe depression due to undiagnosed bipolar disorder and I would do the bare minimum to get by in life, get home and dissociate for about 6 months straight. This doesn’t excuse my actions and I take full responsibility for everything I did that pushed her away. But I wish I could explain that to her and let her know I didn’t hurt her on purpose and it kills me, I’m working so hard on taking control over my illness. I know I shouldn’t reach out because she’ll just see it as an excuse, but I wish we could just get an understanding of that.

  • @cipryan96

I went through the exact situation. My man, listen up... Move on. I was thinking EXACTLY the same as you. She will reach out, but it's already damaged. Chad & Tyrone are smashing as we speak. Block and move on, you will find a better women, as I did. Learn from all this experience, don't make other people pay for your bad experiences and try to be better every day. Have self respect, never take them back!

  • @j__queline

I understand if she asked for no contact it’s good to respect that, but he never mentioned if he apologized. And even if he might’ve been apologizing at the time of the breakup, I think that an apology after time for self-reflection is a completely different story because when it happens at the time of the breakup it seems like they’re just saying whatever they can to keep the relationship together. And also if he’s wondering why she’s watching his stories I bet it’s because she’s just curious how he’s doing. It’s hard not to care after you’ve been in a relationship. Also haha if she happens to send an emoji I think in these times that’s actually opening the door for conversation.

Unrelated to the video, but i'd appreciate an answer:
Is it considered a rebound relationship if she lost her feelings 2 months ago due to my neediness, but only broke up with me 15 days ago, our 4 year relationship, and in the meantime found someone else ? And is there anything i can do to get her back ?
(i started working on my self-esteem and overthinking, and i'm doing no-contact even though i don't know if its the right thing, since she said she still loves me very much, but lost the feelings - and we did meet up once after the break up, and she was touching me and we hugged, and this was before she found someone else.... it was normal, like we always used to talk and behave.)

Im going through something similar, i neglected my wife due to kids, work and life. Shes now having an affair with a married man purely for intimacy. If he wasnt around i think she would want to work on the marriage. She doesnt seem to want a divorce because im guessing when the affair ends, she will try and come back. And as ridiculous as it sounds, i would take her back because i know i need to work on myself which ill do while she has her fun. I feel like i never got a second chance to fix things. I want to date her again and fall back in love with eqchother

She left you man! She may have had a side guy. Who knows. Shut the door, leave and move on. You can’t negotiate desire. she has complete control. That’s not good.
