Which tranny case are you running ? , in my 46 vesla , I had the Taylor tranny case , blew gears twice , yesterday I seized two bearings , the tranny case is shot , so I wondered which one your doing ,and what gears , great run on this video. Cool you always make me wanna quit priority stuff n go do some runs , THANX !!
I’m running the Taylor transmission case with the hardened Kraken gears and also Mike’s new billet idler gear. I just finished that up today and I’m putting the 71 supreme behind it. I noticed that when I replaced my idler gear the bearings on it weren’t in very good condition as far as grease is concerned so I popped the seals out and threw some more grease in. Next time you see the machine, it will have a big bore for power 👍🏼🤙🏼😁
@@Meyers2strokeRcgarage have you seen the new big bore tranny case from kraken , I'm gunna try it this time , bearing is not coming off the tranny case mout piece , cook on , DAMIT !!
@@chrisryder4709 yes I saw that but I went a completely different route beings. I already had a bunch of money sunk in my transmission housing. I got Taylor new gear and I’ll be testing it very soon.
Yep 👍🏼 and it’s virtually impossible to get to the tuning needles on this machine because the tanks in the way. The read engine complicates this a bit 👍🏼
i'm gonna test my 35 next Saturday after cleaning the carb, i'll keep you posted brother !

Thanks for sharing it's last ride. After it warmed up a bit was it just a tad lean on top?

@mikebrowne4028 I don’t have a v2 unfortunately but I’ve heard the V2 is easier to tune in the Vesla.
So is the Vesla going to go back to the 71cc?
