Some of our fans need to grow some balls, and admit that our manager is technically inept or underwhelmed. None of us expected us to win with the injuries and having to rush back Mount and Evans BUT WHY did he stick with the same 4-2-3-1 away from home as he always does, and we begged him not to beforehand, against a team in form and who KNEW he would play this EXACT way?
His plan only ever works for about 20 mins until the opposition work out how to deal with it. Once they figure it out they then adapt their game, while Ten Hag's inflexible plan has him retreat to the dug out to refer to the laptop scratching his head. No plan B. It must frustrate the heck out of those he leaves on the bench game after game.

Defense is 75 % responsibility of the coach ! Offense is 25 % responsibility of the coach ! But who chose his defenders and strikers ? Who planned the defensive block with ball and without ball ? The difference between United players and the rest of the league : player from other teams earn their own wages. Man United players are given their wages and they don’t care.
All this is not down to ETH, but it is his responsibility to fix. I fear that Ineos will pull the trigger and fire him. I for one will be following his career. If he does go to Bayern, he’s going to do great with players who are willing to listen to his instructions and are intelligent enough to follow them. In preseason, he said in an interview that the players weren’t following his instructions. He’s made some bad mistakes, but if you polish a turd, it’s still a turd.
Whether ETH is the right man for the job is debatable. One thing is clear is that these players aren’t good enough.

In that game, he had: Onana, Evans, Casemiro, Mount, Antony, Højlund, Eriksen and Amrabat playing, EIGHT PLAYERS, that HE signed who are awful and have made United worse.

I am the father of a kid (national u17) and at an academy often playing against adults. As the level has gone up I see the need for everything to be working in a team. From tactics to work rate etc. When something is slightly off or one player having a stinker it is nearly impossible to get a result. The only thing that can save it is if someone has a moment of brilliance. Without Rashford or Bruno there that was always going to be tough. Palace is in great form at the moment but UTD should’ve at least competed. They weren’t even in the game.
