I would up pot with well balanced soil, let the fig develop well and only then, graft onto it. Grafting on a poorly nourished tree will stress it out even more. Give it a season of excellent care first IMO.
Thanks for showing us all just how those self tests for plants work. Have always sent soil samples out to give me a complete report.

My mother had a lemon tree that began a slow decline several months after repotting (yellowing, leaves dropping). After she had tried everything and was ready to return it to the nursery, I unpotted it and found it had almost zero roots. Not rotten roots, just none. I sifted the soil and found a giant grub that had eaten them all. My point: if your test doesn't point you in the right direction, get in there and take a look. We're going to rehab it, but if we'd liked sooner the tree would be in much better shape

It may not be thriving, but how did you get it to fruit like that? I’ve had my dogs for 4 years and haven’t even seen a flower.

use 4x larger pot, prune well not like that that terrible pruning and use good quality soil
