Slimane est un chanteur vraiment de qualité et qui représente notre chère belle France. J’adore cette chanson dont je verse toujours une petite larme à la fin❤️❤️C’est vrai que la concurrence est rude, et qu’il y a une diversité comme chaque année de chansons avec des extra terrestres, des musiques dans leur langue, des musiques traditionnelles et beaucoup de boum boum!😜Mais ce que je souhaite à Slimane, c’est de briller et de transmettre la chanson française à toute l’Europe, qui commence maintenant à la connaître! Il faut qu’il se donne à fond (pas comme l’année dernière😞😞) et je pense qu’il sera convaincre les téléspectateurs européens. Enfin il y a toujours eu des surprises lors de la finale😜Bon courage Slimane et fais nous vibrer le 11 mai🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷❤️❤️❤️

I think Slimane will be 1st or 2nd place for jury
For televote it will depend more of his place in the singing order. If he sings at the end of the show he will have more chance to get points, especially if he sings after Italy or Switzerland for example
Français impeccable, excellente vidéo et analyse, comme toujours 🙂 It's such a strong year with so many good songs that a top 5 finish is as good as a win in many ways. For me it's between France, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland and the Netherlands. I keep changing my mind as to which it will be. But for me the French entry is the strongest song and the best singer, but the more quirky ones sum up the glorious silliness and joy of Eurovision, and people love that.

Bravo et merci pour ce commentaire en français. Je suis toujours curieux de visionner tes précédentes vidéos sur l’ESC 2024, même si je ne partage forcément ton analyse voulue… rationnelle.
Pour en revenir à Slimane, dès la 1ère écoute, en décembre dernier, je voyais mal cette chanson, aussi belle soit-elle, gagner l’ESC ; cela n’enlève rien aux qualités exemplaires de l’artiste. Autant la puissance choc de « Voilà », il y a 3 ans, pouvait espérer une victoire, autant ce n’est pas le cas de la chanson de Slimane, qui aura du mal à convaincre avec la même efficacité, un public non francophone. La pop anglaise, basique et vue maintes fois, ou décalée de nombreux grands favoris cette année n’attire pas mon attention. Je salue, par contre, le nombre de chansons en langue locale, présentées cette année. Dans ce registre, il pourrait bien il y avoir de jolies surprises. Dans ce monde instable actuel, au fil d’une actualité anxiogène, certaines chansons du concours sont un rayon de soleil bienvenu pour tous et partout. Certains de leurs succès vidéo le démontrent assurément et que tout est possible, en l’absence, cette année, d’un ou 2 titres phares au succès garanti.
On sait de source sur qu'il y a un visuel de prévu qui sera 100% immersive pour le téléspectateurs filmé en plan séquence à la réalisation léchée

-Older and/or nostalgic people will vote for this traditional song (« Eurovision was so beautiful, now it’s only loud and crazy »)
-His voice is good

-Cheesy lyrics
-Massive pathos
-Younger people will find it old-fashioned and boring
-Boasting about his vocal capacities
Did you listen the lyrics ? They are not cheesy. It's a desperate love message after break up... It can be too much love or romantic for young people but it's not a cheesy one.

Je vous rejoins dans les Points forts et les points faibles de "Mon amour". Je trouve que Slimane, en plus d'être un artiste reconnu, transmet merveilleusement bien l'émotion de désespoir de l'amoureux rejeté. Il donne vie à des paroles sans grande profondeur à mon sens. J'ai écouté plusieurs fois la plupart des chansons en compétition, et j'en adore plusieurs, mais "Mon amour" est la seule qui me provoque des frissons à chaque fois que je l'écoute 😊

Maintenant je veux que les videos de chansons de Portugal, tu parle en portugais. Depuis du espagnole et du français, je espere pour ton video en portugais.
I think France is the top contender that no ones talks about. Italy will get juri vote and some public vote. Croatia and Netherlands will divide public vote. Switzerland not sure about either: could be big in both or a flop in both. But France is one of the few ballads. Older generations will vote for classic ballads. Juri will love his vocals and song. I think they have good chances to win.
Do you think Slimane can win?
I think he can, because he has a solid performance, the message is clear and sweet, is about love in Paris (let's dream). Slimane has the best male vocals. And a winner song in French would be a great moment and gift.
I wouldn't be mad if he would! He is my number one and two, continuously switching with Portugal.

Cons the televote may not ho Slimane's way because of the demographics of the voting public. Young people woll not have had the life experience to understand the passion and intensity of the lyrics
Un article dans un journal français a calculé que la France n'avait que 5% de chance de gagner !
La chanson n'a pas l'air de plaire à beaucoup d'internautes, ( " trop paresseuse, ennuyeuse, facile, plate , ridicule, pas moderne, pas de folie, d'inventivité..." ) surtout aux plus jeunes et aux eurofans de l'Est qui sont désormais plus nombreux !

Pros-potential jury winner,has incredible voice and song doesn’t require much to stage, Slimane might impress locals to vote for him when they see him sing far away from the mic for the first time..I can see him score better than 🇨🇭 only if he impress locals and win jury
Cons- despite having great voice song itself is nothing special.I feel like 🇫🇷 sents same song in different format every year and it’s getting a lil bit boring…and I see alot of people from the fandom getting bored of his constant show offs with the mic but we will have to see how general public will react

How exactly are we sending the same thing every year? In 2022 we literally sent a rave track in Breton... In 2023 that was disco, 2021 chanson, 2020... A Melfest reject? Anyway we've had many many different entries and tried many different styles. So this is straight up wrong
You're french is so good ! But you've made a mistake. French people didn't think France could win, they expect nothing but the victory because it's Slimane. Eurovision is just a joke and our results doens't help. But this year the hype is present only because of him !
