- This was just a quick video as requested by a viewer on how to check if a door needs adjusted, this is a simple effective method and all you need is a pencil and a good eye. Hope it helps and I'll follow up soon with adjustment videos. (I may do a more detailed explanation but this video was done for quickness)
Apologies for the camera skills :-/
The basis of this method could also be used on other types of doors or windows.

great advise
Thank you 😊
thanks a big help
Very welcome
Need to be shown how to plumb the door once fitted. IE gap at the bottom tight as the top when lined up against the frame before closing.
The easies check is the welds on the frame and door should line through,if not it needs adjusting or it's not been fitted square
Yes that's another good check just as long as the door was all lined up properly during manufacture 👍
Hi.can you help.mine closes. Lockes easily when door is wide open.but you have to push handle really hard up to lock.do i have to adjust up or down????
Hi, if you could send us some images of the door lock and the locking positions we could advise. Send to sales@dgpsuk.com. Thank you
Hi,,yes my door needs lifting a bit because the roller catches at the bottom,,how do I lift it pal
Hi, there are a few ways to do it via the hinges or heeling and toeing the glazing, what style is your door. Send some images over to sales@dgpsuk.com 👍
Cheers pal
Very welcome 😊
On my uPVC door the hooks, roller cams and lock sits fine... The only problem is it the catch doesn't latch if that makes sense. The thing that pushes in with the latch...
So for the door to be closed and not locked i have to lift it up for it to stay closed before i even lock it
Hi, sounds like you need to adjust the latch on the keep. Send me some images and I'll have a look. sales@dgpsuk.com 👍
How do you ''push'' up
Hi, do you mean push the door up to realign?
So how do I adjust it if it is too low?
Hi, you can adjust the door via the hinge adjustment or re-pack the glazing to pull the door back into alignment.
This is great but try this on my brown door that's right up against the wall...
Ah yes not so easy 😞
@@DGPSUK Thanks for the great vid, I managed to get a torch down the wall to see things and now the key turns like silk 👍🏽
@@ChrisTheSparky excellent I'm glad these videos help, even just to point anyone in the right direction 😊
