- The OMP Super Decathlon is super awesome. It really is. Make it your next balsa adventure - if you're used to foam PnPs or BnFs, this is a great step up that's easy to build and a ton of fun to fly. Just wear some gloves while assembling it to avoid micro splinters in your fingers.

7:07 TwoBros Score & Review - Zábava
I love mine!! -:) Can't wait to see what you will do with it. I inadvertently learned how to knife edge loop a plane thanks to this Decathalon. And now I can't stop doing it-:)
Excited too see the Decathlon in your hands!! BuddyRC did a amazing thing by sending this beautiful plane to you!
Awesome video TwoBros! Ill be picking one up shortly!
Definitely picking one of these up!
Hope you enjoy!
Awesome plane, I love mine! It’s my go to every time I go fly
I've had a similar experience with their Bighorn. I found it super touchy at first and had to refine my takeoffs & landings. But it's pushed its way towards the top of my plane fleet. So capable and a blast to jamb the sticks...inverted flat spins are impressive. If anything ever happens to it, I'll definitely replace it with the larger Decathlon.
Great review. To overcome the bounces, simply look to basic aeronautical theory. Keep those videos coming, your thumb/eye coordination is a joy to watch., and a great inspiration!
I love a good super decathlon!
I have one and i just love it. Lost tve top hatch but have one in order.
Im patiently waiting for the bighorn vid, I love mine. Its capable of smooth, scale flying or pretty amazing aerobatics.
Looking forward to flying it ourselves!
Great review, you should really check out their 60" edge 540. It is one of the best flying 3d planes I have ever flown. Hats of to buddy RC and omp for making great affordable products. Keep up the great reviews.
I have been debating on the 60" edge or one of their other balsa pla es like this one. Believe I'm just gonna go for the edge! Glad to see your opinion about it.
Awesome review
Jon.. i hope a small comment hasn't made you change your video reviews.
I appreciate you, your channel and your thoughts regarding products. You are an amazing pilot, i love your ability to focus on flying the shit out of anything without a care of crashing
If it was my comment about shilling, im deeply sorry. Perhaps I worded it incorrectly. If it wasn't cool.. deep respect for you and your channel..
Great video and truly appreciate you and your feedback
You're totally fine! We were referring more to the comments we'd deleted from people who called us "horizon Kool Aid drinkers" because we made a relatively positive vid for the SR-71. No apology needed, but we appreciate it regardless. Always feel free to speak your mind respectfully!
@TwoBrosRC i don't understand the score for the Sr71, but thats the thing about respect. I respect your opinion regardless of it being different
I’d love to see an OMP decathlon vs bighorn vid. Been considering the bighorn a while till I saw this. OMP has great quality stuff. Planes and helis.
We might make one if we get the Bighorn!
Jon omp is amazing. I hope to see u fly the Omp bighorn and stack that against the timber someday. Love to see ur thoughts as I love my bighorn! Love my timber too lol
We'd love the Bighorn. You can expect to see it soon!
Omp needs to make a 1/4 scale version
Nice video, so what was your CG at? I have hear 80mm is good not sure what the Manual suggests.
Thanks
No idea offhand.
Jon great review. How are the stock servos?
Really good ass far as we could see. Fast and plenty of torque, no grindy noises either.
Different wheels will make a difference for wheel landings.
Can't imagine they'd do much considering the stiffness of the gear mounts, but we're not against experimenting with it.
Do the omphobby 60" edge 540!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hey Jon, I just have a random question and figured you would know the answer. OK so I have the freewing yak 130 arf+ I just bought because I totalled my last yak 130. I will be using the same 70mm that comes with the pnp model. I also have the 60amp esc it came with but was thinking I would put an 100amp esc in it from a futura I used to have. Would this be a good idea and would it be more powerful or would it just start a fire or ruin the plane?
More amps on the ESC won't make any significant difference.
@@TwoBrosRC thank you
In the video you mention batteries around ~3500 mAh, but the website recommends much smaller 2200-2600 batteries. Do you think the bigger batteries are a better fit for the plane?
We went with the bigger packs on a hunch that the plane would fly well with a small amount of additional weight while performing acro.
This airplane does come with the motor installed, correct? You don't have to buy that separately like some other wooden kits?
It's receiver ready!
Do the 65 inch Bushmaster next.
As soon as Buddy sends one over, we totally will.
Any idea why this one has carbon for the insides? Mine and everyone else’s I’ve seen on CZcams come with a balsa battery tray.
It's balsa with carbon reinforcement. Appears to be a newer version.
I just crashed my viper 90mm after three day( watch your video saying it stall) your so right but it was a good lesson. Know any online store that's not on back order
Nope, but we'd recommend putting it on backorder ASAP so you get a new one when they ship. You also don't get charged for a backorder from Horizon until the product ships to you: bit.ly/45w8mFE
What happened
@@EDF_FANatic viper was powered by 2 3s 5000mah 50c packs) 4min 30sec flight time to land I slower down dropped flaps and hear while turning and the wing facing me just dropped and I was at tree hight. Massive crash and it killed one of the 3s lips. It's a sad say ungluable
What’s a KE Spin?
Knife edge spin.
Why dont you build a kit [arf]next ?on video
Building things on camera isn't really our thing.
What do you mean it should cost 400? Its 329.99 plus shipping and a battery it is 😅
The airframe itself is so good that we feel it should cost way more!
Your bouncing because the plane isn't at or near stall on landing.
Or more likely because the airframe is stiff and so is the suspension.
