  • New 3D plane Maiden! New UMX Timber X. Very impressed with powerful little servos, big throws, 3D capabilities. But also how slow and stable on full flaps and super easy to fly on Safe Mode. My new favorite do everything plane. 3D as well as best plane to buddy box friends on safe mode. Probably as easy as a remote control car on Safe Mode. #efliterc #horizonhobby #timberx

Spent an hour trying to find a video of someone that can actually fly and not just sell a review.
    Thank you. Subbed

Nice flying. Very good hover. I can't seem to lock mine into a nice stedy one it wants to torque roll with me.

i have to be honest that does not look like it wants to fly in high alpha
and when the wing dropped at 00:25 I thought it was done for
I still want to buy one of these because they look like a lot of fun

how far foreward do you have the battery for hovering?

I always fly all planes neutral CG. It was right in the middle of the strap.

Just bought a new UMX timber X. Trying to set up flaperons, one flaperon goes up and one goes down. I tried reversing one of the servos, but did not help. I have a spectrum DX 6E transmitter. Anyone ever come across this issue with flaperons and how do you solve it?

I would contact support. I think that programming should be built into the receiver not the radio.

Would you recommend this as a second plane

For general flying, if you want a small plane yes. If you want to do 3D, it is not the easiest or most stable to 3D mostly due to the size, so small. But definitely capable and stable and easy for aerobatics.
