Great video Tobias👍🏼 🦅 You are a very cool group of young photographers. Remembers me of a very emotional encounter with a golden eagle when I flew in a glider in the Swiss Alps back in the 1990’s. He flew with me for several minutes in a thermal, looking at me like in one of your photos, as if we knew each other. 30 years later the image is still in my head.
My favorite image is the one with the five yellow-billed choughs with the one in the center being the only one in focus and happens to be looking at the camera. Great shot.
Those shots of the Golden Eagle were incredible!! This entire video was so well done! Can't wait for the next part! If you can make sure to see the Cinereous vultures in the French Alps! They're MASSIVE!
Hi Tobias, I’m having goosebumps watching your spectacular video! We have bearded vultures in a remote mountain range called The Drakensberg - dragon mountain - in South Africa. We spent a day at a special bird-hide on top of the mountain photographing these incredible birds. We didn’t have snow 😊. Thank you for sharing this awesome footage.
Hi from Australia! Amazing footage of gorgeous birds in such a beautiful location! Those Bearded Vultures were very impressive but I really enjoyed seeing the little finches & accentors! They were just stunning, particularly against the orange on those rocks! Just beautiful!!! ❤
just found this channel, i'm from the caribbean, i'm not a wildlife person but dammmmmm this is amazing hope to see lots n lots of content from you. Awesome stuff keep it up.
Thanks for sharing a nice trip into the alps, so many photos to choose from.. but I must say the ones where you introduced the surrounds were my favorites 😊
as a 17yo amateur wildlife photographer is amazing and truly epic to see another young fellow get amazing pictures with modest equipement and showing that you do not need a 600mm to get amazing pictures! amazing stuff bro!
@@TobiasGjerde I can totally imagine, they are so cool. You had some great shots! This summer i had a simillar experience with a bearded vulture in Switzerland which flew by at a distance of about 30 meters. Incredible birds to see!
Spectacular images and storyline. 5 species but just amazing composition and the snow contributes to the high key effect improving subject isolation. Have subscribed and looking forward to the next episode. Was thinking I’d have to go to Lalibela, Ethiopia to see Lammergeier but this place seems really beautiful. What part of the Swiss alps is this?
I crossed the Dolomites in 2018. A bit after that I go really into wildlife photography and always dreamed about going back there. So this here is a dream come true! Well done, Tobias! Hope to meet you one day in Norway :)
Pretty well made. I did the same few days ago, waiting hours to see these beautiful birds. We had not that much luck to see the golden eagle that close, but to see the birds and that scenery, was just stunning. I´m really curios to see part 2. Hands down for your work.
Fantastically great Tobias, so young and talented, good at making videos, very good in English ......fit in terrain and with the future ahead of you. Ketil Wardenær
Very nice, beautiful shots. I encountered a couple of golden eagles last fall in a well-known hawk migration route. Unfortunately, the lighting was poor and having just arrived I wasn’t prepared, so no shots. But I still treasure the experience of seeing such magnificent birds so close.
Hi Tobias, I'm Italian! I know this alpine fauna well, I often go and take photos it in the Italian Alps. Great emotions .... and you are very good! 👏👏👏
This is a wonderfully presented video, yung man. I enjoyed watching every moment of it. I'm a wildlife photographer myself and I can really appreciate your enthusiasm. Thank you for sharing your work with us. Cheers from Canada.
Amazing video! I live in Switzerland and want to get into wildlife photography. I wanted to ask, once you got up there on the mountain, did you just settle down somewhere waiting or did you move around a lot? Would love if you you share some insights. Cheers!
I was really suprised as you named Chris Kaula. I am German and watch his videos. You both make really nice pictures.
Thanks a lot!
Wonderful pictures, I really like your style, thanks a lot for sharing. Wish you succes. (I am also bird wacher, France/Morroco).

I know how hard it is to find bearded vulturs and getting those outstanding shots. Congrats!!!

I see golden eagles 1000x in a day here in kashmir , 3 sit on my house roof top
Oh wow, that’s amazing! In the rest of the world they are considered elusive and rather uncommon, most places
