There are a handful of BXD20 Mega Cruisers in the Philippines. The difference: it has to be converted to left-hand drive.

how do the tax fare there. i mean even a H-1 is wide already
and also the engine ( wiki says this engine was for toyota trucks /bus), does it make hard to obtain parts there?

3:30 This is incorrect, HMMWV and Hummer H1 both have portal axles. They work fantastically well off-road, which is why Toyota copied the idea with the Megacruiser.

Incorrect, the portal axle was invented for the Unimog in the late 40's. That being said, I'll keep my M-1123 HMMWV.

question is they still maintain a flat bed inside cabib, unlike the hummer clan ( how is it possible with a portal axle)

We had a BXD20 already road approved 15 years ago. It now runs in Germany. Last year we had 4 military Mega Cruisers approved, this year 3 units. Sold 2 Mega Cruisers last week. We have the military version and the passengercar version in stock. Also parts in stock. All available at company All American Imports bv / Landcruiser Adventure in the Netherlands.

this one is prob a Bundera Hummer but with a heavy duty engine from a truck ( even the original model user dont have portal axles like this)

This is called Hight Mobility Vehicle nicknamed the Hayate in the Japan Ground-Self Defense Force !
This is a truly beautiful vehicle that i really dream to own one, and if i ever do i would paint it in the JGSDF standard camouflage, i really want this car !

Toyota performed reverse engineering with a Bantam BRC 40 prototype take it from the pacificwar when Japanese forces invaded Philippines, not the G503 as many idiots preach around everywhere. Rumor says, In the 50's Toyota, developed their first 6 in-line after the Chevrolet Bluefire engine.
Japanese copied? Nope...they took actual designs and make them better.
