Another cool project that can be a true time saver when doing multiple cuts for the same or similar items. There are a few safety issues with this video, though. The shot of the piece being shown to the camera directly after running through the table saw, while informative,it speaks to the issue of doing multiple tasks simultaneously. The risk for injury greatly increase when one attempts to do so,you are using very dangerous equipment with the ability to cause extreme injury and needs to be given your total concentration and respect. When you have the least bit of distraction (such as camera placement or how to present a just cut piece for the camera) is when things can go wrong in the blink of an eye.The table saw needs your complete attention if it is running, turn it off when you are doing anything else.Same for circular saws and routers.I want you to be safe so many more of your videos can be seen by the CZcams audience. Please think first of the audience that truly matters, your family, and make it a point to make safety the primary concern.Best wishes for the new year.

I love all of your stuff. So much more simple in most cases than other makers, especially for jigs. Men make "man jigs" that are way heavier than they need to be, so I'm glad to find a woman making really cool stuff that is much lighter.
Also, thank you for owning your mistakes and posting it. You have no idea how much more comfortable newbies feel when "pros" make mistakes, show how they tried to fix them, and then admitting to having to scrap something and start over. Everyone makes mistakes and I can't tell you HOW many times I've had to talk with folks (I volunteer as a supervisor in a 50+ woodshop, which means I have to teach a lot) about not being discouraged because their whatever didn't turn out exactly like the video or instructions. Matter of fact, so many instructions are lacking (or are completely wrong) in books and magazines that I've had to help patrons reverse-engineer the "instructions" going off of pictures. Yikes!
I have to explain over and over that folks who make videos for TV (and sometimes YT) have to do them over and over until whatever it is comes across as "perfect". Even have to explain that TV shows have a LOT of folks behind the scenes, doing the work, finding mistakes, dealing with suppliers and delays, and having to do 20+ takes to make sure it comes out perfectly on camera.
Thanks for reiterating that mistakes happen, especially in the prototype process. I encourage everyone who wants to follow any directions to make a cheap/scrap wood prototype to find flaws. Nothing is perfect. It means a lot that you pointed out your mistake and the attempt to correct before scrapping. Everyone needs to see that.

KO SESHIE sorry! I tried by best. Basically. You set it to the thickness of your material. And the screw is set to the thickness of your blade. So you can use to make perfect fitting joints. If you just used your Material as a spacer it would be too wide bc it doesn’t take the thickness of the blade into account. You can also just use a spacer that’s the thickness of your blade without this jig. But it’s fun to make and useful to have around

What is a Dra one asked? Bean town speak for Drawer everywhere else 😁.
Researchers for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority found over 200 dead crows near greater Boston recently, and there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu. A Bird Pathologist examined the remains of all the crows, and, to everyone's relief, confirmed the problem was definitely NOT Avian Flu. The cause of death appeared to be vehicular impacts.
However, during the detailed analysis it was noted that varying colors of paints appeared on the bird's beaks and claws. By analyzing these paint residues it was determined that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with trucks, while only 2% were killed by an impact with a car.
MTA then hired an Ornithological Behaviorist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentages of truck kills versus car kills.
The Ornithological Behaviorist very quickly concluded the cause: when crows eat road kill, they always have a look-out crow in a nearby tree to warn of impending danger.
The scientific conclusion was that while all the lookout crows could say "Cah", none could say "Truck."

Your videos are awesome. Keep them coming! Praying you do some more collab with Jonathan and get some more of these really useful jigs out there for sale. The value of getting a finished jig that is dead on accurate is so useful. I have used your router jig countless times and while I could make one I just don't want to invest the time and I'm not sure it would be as accurate.

Finding out you say a word weird is kind of funny. When I was in Vermont, I learned that us Midwest folks say "root" differently (we rhyme it with foot instead of boot).

Awesome idea and realization, as always😁. But shivers ran down my spine seeing you reaching with your hand over the spinning bare saw blade, as I made it a habit, never to reach in this direction, unless the blade is at a standstill 😉

Great design and presentation! We really do learn best from our mistakes! Regarding that: It makes me nervous when someone drills into a hand held piece with a small diameter drill bit. If the bit snaps, the broken end still in the drill is not only spinning, but also aimed straight at your hand. I still keep clean towel and a box of bandaids ready since there are so many ways to slice into skin! Also, don’t buy a belt sander with a front handle shaped too much like the front end of the exposed belt. Yes, I grabbed mine there. The lady at Urgent Care asked me if I had an appointment. I told her I wasn’t planning to injure myself, so no. I didn’t.

I love seeing young people developing their skills. Two tips learned the hard way. #1 no such thing as too sharp. #2 if your angel quietly asks, ‘are you sure you want to do that?’ Listen then rethink.
