- The 2016 Red Bull Heavy water competition in San Francisco. Some raw footage that I took. Sometimes it's nice to see the whole picture of what is going on rather than the highlights of the top guys doing their best. This is so humbling to watch as all the competitors, pros and amateurs were getting worked. I was definitely impressed with everyone. Worth sharing for those who weren't there. Enjoy and see you this Oct for the 2018 version. It's going to be even more amazing. I'll try to post raw footage again.
I was blown away that they got outside the first time! You don't get this kind of stamina drinking redbull!

do these guys surf with short 12foot boards (since sup surf boards tend to be even shorter)...?
I SUP in rough water as much as I can here in Hawaii. I go to my favorite spot (do not ask me) and I tear the fucking shit up! I am 52 and in the best shape of my life. Core strength and upper body have never been as naturally-honed. Fuck the gym, baby!
I have surfed my whole life. Many years teen through 20s in Kauai and can say SUP surfing for me seems to be a more intense workout than any other watersport including surfing.
Mor all rounded workout is a better way to put it, work out muscles I didn't know I had
ahahah I agree with you! Especially in the last years when to come in the gym they ask you shit pass or others documents.
