Hey Otto, i was looking for tilt angles. You have compared it in Hohem iSteady X video. From your experience - which one has better tilt? i just want to immitate the crane with gimbal on long pole without tilting the camera in pan and follow mode. Thanks!
Hello Tomas! I just tried them out and the OM4 tilts more than the Moza Mini MX. It is not a notorious difference as with the iSteady X

hello VAL, it will depend, if you care about the tracking the iSteady V2 new AI sensor is great. handle and grip feel better with the Moza, and you will get more buttons to control your smartphone. I haven't used the Moza gimbal too much but it is a good one.

Hey Otto, i would like to know whether the phone holder in both the device have problems with the power button of the android phone which you presented in the video. Most android phones have power button almost in the middle area.
hi, the power button will not get pushed if that's what you mean, but yes, on most cases it will be completely or partially covered by the clamp

If I had to choose I would probably pick the smooth Q3. I get the feeling that this Moza Mini will have a new version soon and the smooth Q3 felt better, except on the tracking with Android , where I feel that the Moza did a better job
@@OttoJulian_ Thanks for your reply. If I looked for price on Indonesia, Q3 is still expensive and Moza slightly lower price on it. You also right if terms of software, Moza wins because its versality on Android Devices than Q3 (in case zy cami have some limited in "magic mode" which it only 6 months free).
I get the feeling that Zhiyun might Re think about that premium service, it's not expensive but everyone that mentions this don't seem to be very happy about paying a monthly or anual fee.
@@OttoJulian_ Remember Q2? Yes first release it's marketing way are too expensive to its design and yeah difficult portrait mode and focus tracking are deal breaker for this gimbal previously. Now they are same thing again in Q3 (terms on pricepoint) but some different problem as your opinions above.
I just mentions completely about they mistake in terms of selling though.
Lastly, I'm decided to choose Moza Mini MX because more features but sacrifices something, like limitations on tripod screw (cannot use big tripod plate) and yeah lock mode only ON if one press and hold. But overall Mini MX have some minor features but other most gimbals are missing right now such as restart button (near Type-C port). Another minor features that I like it such like have great battery life (Q3 is decent maybe based on battery capacity), android friendly (I tested on ZenFone 5Z), and yeah more good tracking based your review as well.

they joystick doesn't need their app. Zoom will need the app

Would you recommend a gimbal for S21 Ultra? used to own OM3 but it was unable to handle Ultra's weight. I'm afraid OM4 will be the same.
motors on the OM4 are a bit stronger. Have you looked into the Q3?

It should support 4K if your phone supports it. Have you tried using PRO mode? What phone do you have?
@@OttoJulian_ I was able to figure it out, using the front camera is 1080P and when I used the rear camera, it's 4K, it varies on the phone capabilities. I am using Huawei Mate 10Pro phone. Thanks for the reply!

both are good. For Zhiyun I would recommend the Q4 instead of the Q3, better grip and light

Dji om5 being the more pricey option
all of them are good gimbals, it will depend on your shooting style and needs. I like the OM5 magnetic clamp and small size (it's the easiest of the 3 to carry around) but I don't like that I can't change the gimbal mode unless I go into the app (I usually don't use the app to record videos)
@@OttoJulian_ oh this is important to me aswell. I would like to shoot @ 4k30 or 4k60 and I don't think any will support my s21 ultra so I'm looking for the gimbal that can change modes when using the stock camera app. Doe this mean I should go the moza/zhiyun route?

hello, yeah Android is going to be more limited but this happens with every brand. Some have more limitations than others. DJI will only shoot at 30fps with their app, while Zhiyun and Moza will allow 24fps as well. I have a few videos comparing different gimbals, I think you need to select the one that suits your needs and filming style. The Moza MX 1 and 2 are good, Zhiyun Smooth Q3 or the Smooth 5 are great options, and the OM4 still remains as a very good option as well. The OM5 is also good but they removed a few features in favor of a few other from the OM4....
For Android user which gimble is perfect? Specially Samsung m51 or Samsung smartphones

Every smartphone gimbal has some issues with Android, you can watch my Android vs iPhone video. It's aimed at the OM5 but almost everything applies to other brands as well. So there is no perfect gimbal for Android... but DJI probably has the most limitations where it can't even shoot at 24fps (only 30)...

I will have an updated version but for the most part everything is still the same.
In terms of stabilization both are really good. I tend to stick with the OM4 for several reasons, specially the magnetic clip and believe it or not, you get used to a gimbal's movement (how "fluid" it is).

hi, it all depends on your shooting style. I like the magnetic clamp for quick in and out. The Mini MX is quite affordable and it does a good job stabilizing video

hello, there is no 60fps for most Android devices when you use them on just about any gimbal. Workaround is to use the native camera app to shoot 60fps, but you won't be able to use some of the features that come with their app

Every gimbal has more options for iOS. Android seems to be a challenge for them. I am also an Android user and it's annoying. I do have a video about iPhone vs Android with the OM4. I quickly mention all limitations for Android users when you use their Mimo app

Yeah the OM4 is a very good gimbal, and I think you made a good choice. The Mini MX is good too but not to the point where I would suggest you to sell your OM4 to get the MX, hope this helps

I just bought the MX and the app does not feature calibration! This is the second gimbal that this has happened. Also the firmware update will not succeed.I have a feeling that if you don't have a 600.00 dollar or above phone, you can't use your new toy for long. Other than that, A very nice gimbal.

hello Neon, both should be good for your phone, and it will depend on your shooting style and preferences. The difference between the MX and the MX2 is the automatic clamp, ideal for run and gun video shooting. I still like the convenience of the magnetic clamp on the OM4...

I have a video comparing them (Q3 and OM4). They are quite similar, I still prefer the magnetic clamp but that's just because of my own shooting style (I remove my phone quite frequently). The Q3 has the easiest way to change gimbal modes and that's what I like the most about it. MX is second place (it also has buttons for that but not as straight forward as the Q3) and om4 is the worst (no buttons to change gimbal mode, only inside the menu)

@NEON oh absolutely. I also use the native camera app with these gimbals a lot and it gets frustrating with the OM4 when I need different modes back to back. Good luck with the Q3.

hello! I do like the new AI sensor on the V2 a lot, it is very versatile. But the OM4 still has more features that I do enjoy, like the ergonomics, the trigger, the magnetic clamp, etc.
