Thanks so much for your comment and support of the video. Yankee Candle is popular here in South Africa as well, and I have a pretty large Yankee candle collection. They aren't my favorite brand though because the candles are light and don't have a very good throw, but I do like the actual scents. ❤

My husband is the candle lover in our house, but I love everything you post so I had a fun time watching! Also I learned a lot more about candles I didn’t know before. I think my favorite would probably be the cookie dough one. I love sweet comfort smells over the fruity ones. But I do love a good citrus too

I Love candles & scented waxes I haves some Scentsy wax burners & candles around house. I love to watch any kind of hobbies so whatever you post I’d watch.😂
Hey Mary. Thanks so much for the support. I love my diamond paintings, definitely, but at the moment I'm actually loving my candle hobby more. 🤣. I'm also someone who loves wax melts. I have 6 wax warmers around my open concept home and I melt wax every day in those. Hugs.

Great to get to know another side of you and see what brings you joy,i use fragrence oils and love adding them to putty for diamond painting.
I'm yet to buy putty, but I know that I would love it because of the scents that get added to it. All I need is yet another addiction. 🤣
I am a scent junkie. Love the mixed content. Also you can get scent jewelery, if you want to have something to sniff without disturbing others.

Hi Kim loved this surprise video! I also enjoy candles but like the more perfume like candles. For instance the only candle I would have picked out of your collection is summer moon. I live in Australia and love Glasshouse candles. I need candles with a strong throw because I have an open plan area I burn them in. Have a lovely weekend
So happy to hear that you enjoyed this video and that you're open to some different content. I must tell you, I've been burning Summer Moon for the last two nights and it's gorgeous. It's strong and it's doing a good job of scenting our open concept areas. I also need strong candles because of the layout of our house. 😁
I can tell you one thing. Even in a huge open concept house key like cake pop will work for you. That candle is so nuclear. One ofy favorites ever. That and warm and welcome are my favorite gc scents.
Summer moon is their dupe of midsummers night from yankee. But theirs is much stronger than Yankees so i prefer gc. :)

Yes, I enjoyed your video very much. I have purchased a Goose Creek candle from Amazon and liked it quite a bit. But I think I will go to their website and check out the Key Lime Cake Pop and the Farmstand Melon. Your descriptions of them were very helpful------I prefer stronger scents. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Kim loved the video I use to buy candles all the time and use to collect the as well as the lamp tops. I would buy from Yankee candles which is right next store bath and body works. Take care and like you said happy burning.

Oils last several years and it’s “cleaner”. And I love your voice so you could probably talk about almost anything and I’d listen. Lol. ❤
Ah, thanks so much April. Very kind of you to say that about my voice. 😁. When it comes to candles, I try to stick to pure soy (like from Kringle candle) or soy / paraffin blends. The literature seems to suggest that those ones give the cleanest burns. Hugs.
I used to buy and use candles, but I have gravitated to essential oils and the defuser to scent my house/rooms. I really like patolli! Mixed with lavender would be great!! I am less of a fan of "food", but fruit scents are lovely. Do any kind of video Kim, love them all. We have so many similarities! Thanks for sharing. Cheers

No, I have not tried it. Not sure about the marshmallow part… but you didn’t thin you would like the melon one and you loved it so maybe. 🤷♀️
@@nancysmith3151 The marshmallow note just softens the Lavender and adds a sweetness to it. The scent itself is basically a sweet, delicious lavender, if that makes sense. If you're ever in BBW, give it a sniff. 💙
Oooh i loved this video! I just bought a spicy peach candle an hour ago! I never heard of goose creek but I will check them out asap. I’m crazy about patchouli and lavender so summer moon is coming home with me!
I definitely recommend that you check out Goose Creek. They have some really good scents and some good prices. And I must tell you, I've been burning Summer Moon for the past few nights and it's a gorgeous scent. And it's strong. It's doing a good job of scenting our open concept area. 😁💙

@@patriciamattei2362 If you're looking for sweet, gourmand scents that are strong, then I would definitely recommend Key Lime Cake Pops. It actually smells a lot like Fruit Loops. There is also an orange scented candle that I burnt recently and it was also strong. I'll check the name and get back to you. The slight problem with gourmand scents is that they tend to have a lighter throw and are better for closed in rooms. But every now and then, there's a strong one and it's normally when the gourmand note is mixed with fruit. 💙

Ooooh, I LOVE scented candles - although I only really buy wax melts these days, and my electric wax heater is on constantly 😆 In the UK we can get 3 packs of wax melts for £5, however I recently bought 2 boxes of 8 packs on Amazon, which work out about the same price as the Asda ones. I also found an online company that makes perfume dupes, but also home fragrance in various forms. I was so pleased to find it after my favourite perfume was discontinued. But the really exciting thing for me is they do home fragrance in the (dupe) scent of my favourite perfume! I'm still deciding if it's the height of vanity to want my home smelling of me, as it were, but I love the perfume so why wouldn't I want my home to smell like it too? 😂 Great video, I definitely enjoy an occasional little bonus video about interests in addition to diamond painting. Thanks so much for supporting this video and being open to it. By the way, I'm also a massive fan of wax melts. I have 6 warmers around the open concept areas of our home and I melt wax melts in those warmers every day. I'm just a complete scent junkie. 🤣. And by the way, I don't think there's anything wrong with your house smelling like perfume. Why the hell not! 🤣
@myhappyplacewithkime1430 They're great, aren't they? And don't forget the Plug-Ins and reed diffusers dotted around the place too! The thing I love about my perfume is that it doesn't smell 'perfumy', if that makes sense. It's hard to describe, but it works well as a home scent, too. It probably sounds like a lot with all of the above, but it's definitely balanced. Plus, I only have myself to worry about, so even if it did smell like a make-up room, it's only me who has to deal with it 🤣
