Great Video! Bamboo Paper now has a dedicated button to switch between finger and stylus input!!! :)))
Great video. Thank you.
I'm using the new Samsung Notes 4. It must have been released just after this video. I like the fact that it syncs almost instantly across devices. I use it for making quick notes on the go. For my serious notes for projects One Note with its great file structure is unbeatable IMHO. Of course both will handle text to speech from the dictation icon on the virtual keyboard.
Great video! I must say you should upload 60fps videos for such a devices, because the feel of writing can't be perceived in 30 fps when the device itself is 60/120fps.
Really excellent video Teoh. You explain the features very thoroughly and concisely. Good audio and camera work too. Thank you.
Do you have a matte screen protector on? If you do, do you find that it makes a huge difference?
The biggest downside of the Wacom Bamboo Paper is that the page size seems to be device specific. When I opened some older notebooks on a bigger tablet, the sides of the pages were cut off, and I couldn't resize the page or restore the original size.
Hi! I have a galaxy tab s6 lite (in fact I saw your video about it to help decide to buy it) and I can assure you that in the Samsung notes painting you can choose the brush size. You just have to touch again the brush you are already using and the menu pops below the brush. Just a friendly kick note to correct the information... not intended to shame you. Love the vids btw :)
I think u should try buying an iPad for once as iOS apps As anderoid apps are no match to iOS
czcams.com/video/v19dt1b8X70/video.html homemade stylus pen best for u
@@StudywithMe-rg4bf nah just moved from 2020 ipad pro 12.9 to Samsung tab s8 ultra best decision ever
Thanks for sharing idol nice one video very informative
i just love the way you talk... It´s so relaxing... Great video too!! I really loved Nebo :D
I like google notes and which one do you like?
This was so helpful, thank you!
by any chance, is there another app that creates a scribble/pencil sound when writing (except for spen feature for the new models).
Such a good, well rounded video. Thanks.

Very useful review.
Thank you!
really helpful video for beginners of stylus pen. thank you
Thank you SO MUCH!
Thank you for this review, it came at the right time. I found this video in search.
Thank you so much for this video! It’s super helpful for school and stuff. God bless
Thankx man! Much love from India...💝
awesome review! can't wait for my s6 lite to arrive to try these out. Thank you.
Best wishes with you purchase, I'm looking into buying one of those myself
@@nasimnaji9405 I have had it for 1-2 weeks now and I love it for note taking! I use the app Noteshelf. Granted it's not the best app and sometimes there are glitches but it's a good balance between simplicity and customization. Good luck with your buy!
Was just about to order one when I thought about the apps, you found the best?
@@jordabox my personal favorite is Noteshelf. Good palm rejection; I never haid any problem. It's simple but there are enough tools for everyday notetaking. Once in a while there are minor glitches but they are resolved within seconds. Easy and realistic way to organize notebooks; I can group notebooks together to form a stack.
Another favorite of mine is Bamboo Slate. It's super simplistic and the "paper" is realistic, so I just use it for free thinking, once in a while. In this one I can minimalize the tool bar so it resembles a real piece of paper most for me.
Onenote sadly doesn't work for me. If you look closely in the video, the words move ever so slightly right after the pen finishes writing them. This is what I experience too, and I couldn't stand that.
Use ipad dude
I'm currently using S6 But I'm not able to use the home and insert option in one note properly ... could you help with that
Thanks for the review
Hi can you please test and do a review on Jnotes? It's also a notetaking app for Android and compare it like to Samsung Note. Thank you for your great videos!
I think noteshelf app will come to the top.It comes with latest samsung tabs and it will be the cause for coming new updates.
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much!
I like using samsung note. However, I have a problem when I save it in pdf file, because some parts are cut. Do you have any suggestion for this kind of problem? Thank you
Does anyone know how Microsoft one note changes hand written notes into digital text? I've been struggling with this for hours now and there just doesn't seem to be an option! I finally managed to transfer a test note to my PC and the Microsoft one note in there still can't convert it!
Thanks for this video it's helpful.
Yi Chie, may I ask when using OneNote - does your page moves when you lift the stylus off the screen after finishing a word and move to write another. That movement causes the palm to mvoe slighty and on my tablet, the page will twitch and often zoom in... it doesn't happen when the stylus is on the screen or close enough to have the cursor appear... do you have this problem? How to overcome it? Thanks!
I don't have that problem
Will nebo backup to one drive as well?
I like noteshelf alittle bit, but andriod does not come with all the features like you see on youtube videos. Like for my text tool i don't have the header tool, or the rename tool, or the resize tool.
Useful Video Thank you..
Very good review, thanksss
Great video. Thank you.
Which tablet has lower latency while writing - tab s6 lite or tab s6 ?
Can you tell us which stylus pen are you using in this video?
Hey Teoh, would you consider redoing this list for 2023? While a lot of the apps in this video are still relevant today, it would be interesting to see how they stack up against newer apps.
I have an question . What is the difference beetween S notes and Samsung notes? . Nice video
I like it when it does not have pressure sensitivity. OneNote would have been good for me but I couldn’t turn that function off
Which stylus u use?
which stylus to buy
What about noteshelf?
can some suggest an app which would allow us to add space at any portion of the page(1 or 2 or more lines at once ) to make additions to already made notes with stlyus
You mean like enlarge a fixed size page? Not that I know. Many apps just have pages that flow on forever. Or you can try Concepts with its infinite canvas
@@teohontech7141 Thank you 😊
Omg I got one for Christmas!!
Hello. Which app is support windows synchronous? that is, in which application we can see our notes in sync, both on the tablet and on the windows?
Microsoft OneNote
is there any app to attach a note page to a specific pdf page??
It seems that none of these handwriting apps can actually reflow the text when converting a handwritten note? I'm skeptical about using them to actually take handwritten notes - a whole line of handwritten text will be converted to a narrow column. Is any of these apps actually useful to take longform notes?
there isn't any notetaking app i know which can convert all the page while protecting the orginal shape and size of it, sadly
What apps can be converted to text from handwriting?
Kindly fo more videos in s6 lite.
Google maps all social media.... structure drawing
After watching this nice video and knowing you have both Android and IPadOS tablets I wonder, what tablet is your daily driver?
I’m using iPad Pro. Actually I can use either. Doesn’t matter what I use as long as I can get the job done. My current favourite drawing app Concepts runs on iOS and Android
Hello.. extremely useful review. Thank you so much.
Please try to add review for pdf reading android apps which will be good for reading, highlighting or making note in the pdf file itself.
XODO is a really great app
@@chanshine0669 thank you so much.
Can we get more colours than already given???
No slot for stylus ?.bummer?
What about Tablets and Phones that dont have an S-PEN support. Just regular Capacitive Touch with a Capacitive Stylus ?
Those pens will just work like finger. There is no pressure and no palm rejection
Hello, I've bought the app today and have a question:
I've downloaded Japanese language but it seems the app doesn't recognise my writing instead they only recognise English writing which is the default. Could you please have an advice how to write other language than English in the app?
I’m not sure if it can read Japanese. Maybe ask the developer
Thanks for the advice
Are the handwritten notes on One Note Android searchable??
Does the s pen works on xiaomi mi 9t pro?)
Doesn't work
Thank you
If you have to do rough work and not save your notes, or if you have to do annotations to your pdf and save it, then sketch on pdf application is the best
Can i use nebo in my one plus pad and can i use one plus pencyl? Help me

Sir pls reply If we have a app with palm rejection support than we can use any stylus that doesn't supports palm rejection?
The TABLET and PEN have to support palm rejection. Otherwise palm rejection will not work.
@@teohontech7141 sir, means I have to purchase tab with its original stylus
Great video! But do these apps have graphic recognition and stabilizer? I need these characteristics for my math class
If you mean recognising Math symbols, I'm not sure.
Can samsung note convert my handwriting into chinese letter? Say if i write in chinese letter...is it able to recognise it or read the chinese letter that i wrote?
You can. You just have to download additional languages via Samsung Settings.
What tablet are you using in the video? And what pen? Thank you. Great video, many thanks 🎉
Samsung Tab S6
How can we draw shapes on onenote? Waiting for a reply.
Nice video but you should also mention which languages each app supports.

They have the new PDF import button. So now you can open multi-page PDF, write, and save back to the PDF file. Works great. T

S,Pen
Can these write Mathematics equations
I just bought s6 lite today and my samsung notes keep crashing , any solution ?
The sad thing is the Samsung tablet I got for Christmas doesn't come with a pen so I don't get pressure sensitivity or palm rejection. But I still love it and I can use my own stylus, but it can't go inside the tablet.
Inside
Which stylus do you prefer??
Stylus that's made by the same company that makes the tablet.
3:58 the free ones are the first two.
Hey, Thank you your video. Which app the best note taking app for students? Actually I use my lessons' notes (PDF) and I want to write on pdf. Which is the best for pdf note taking?
try xodo
WPS office also good, I'm enjoying it a lot. And it can connect with your cloud storage and seamlessly update notes you wrote on your pdf file.
INKredible, you can open PDFs with it and write on them, Xodo is great too but it's better for annotating if that is your goal
Fiinote.
How about evernote?
Which stylus do you own? ( In this video)
Samsung S Pen from Tab S6
Is there any app that record audio and synchronize the handwriting with the audio?
You can use the default screen recorder app or some app from Google Play Store to record what you write and say.
Hi, Do you know of any app which can save your notes completely either on Cloud or on external SD card? I am not looking for an app to make a copy on Internal storage. I am using Samsung notes from last 2.5 years and I found I have occupied 1.3GB internal storage because I keep media, gifs, screenshots, audio etc in my notes. I am afraid after 10 years, I have to download my 7GB notes on new syncing device.
You can try syncing your notes to Microsoft OneNote or OneDrive.
@@teohontech7141 Hey Thanks a lot for taking time and replying me. :-) I have hand written notes using spen. Microsoft OneNote keep copies both at local storage and on cloud. I am concered about my mylocal storage getting filled on andriod tablet. I want somethign which doesnt keep copy on internal storage. Exporting to other drive is possbile but Intead of exporting, I want app to store it on external device
thank you
I'm looking for a app that I can use on my moto one 5g ace . An app that I can take quick notes with my fingers or nails. Can you recommend one
I think inkredible is the best app iuse it too
Have you tried nail on skin note taking? It's the cheapest option
Which stylus are you using?
S Pen from Samsung Tab S6
What stylus are you using?
Samsung S Pen
Can it compete by I pad8gen?
For note taking, iPad and Samsung tablets are evenly matched.
Hi! I've been looking for information but haven't found answers. It happens that in my tab s3 I can read PDF files from my external storage but I cannot write to them (s pen, to highlight text) it asks me to make a copy and the truth is that the internal memory would fill up very quickly. is there a way to be able to do this with the files on the microSD without having to copy them to internal storage? or some app ?. I was trying XODO but it doesn't quite convince me: C pls help
Maybe try Samsung Notes?
@@teohontech7141 nope :c i cant save the changes in the microSD, where originally the pdf files are
@@jared5583 Strange. I was able to save onto SD card with Samsung Notes. Just rename it differently.
@@teohyc aaaaaah, but i was thinking the function as in "write on pdf" app, when u write in the pdf file it automatically saves whiout "create a new file" i mean the original pdf file stay in the same route with the changes that i made. Sorry for my english

What is the best app to annotate a PDF, take extensive notes directly on the PDF, and be able to save the annotated PDF, and view it on windows?
Try xodo
Fiinote
I wonder if there an app that actually simulating the real notebook, such as pages (ever page is next to the other one) it would be the best app. of course if it was free :)
How do you convert the handeritten to text?
That will depend on which app you use
Right sorry, the Samsung notes one you said you just push a button but didn't show which button :)
