    When I saw the notifications I thought: "No... it can't be!" But it was true! Also great behind the scenes. I really wish you had a bit more recognition, but I guess since you're working on projects for LEGO you don't have enough time, so that might be part of it. I love this channel

    How long does it take you to do these projects for LEGO? And would you make a tips and tricks video in the future?

    • @AntBandit
      @AntBandit  Před 3 lety +3

      Timelines vary for every project. Generally pre-production lasts about a month, and animation/post production another month. Longer projects like the recent LEGO Batman videos I directed had a much more extensive production timeline.

      Thanks! Got started in my college dorm room in 2015, "The Painter" was my first ever stop motion film. Started as a hobby and now I'm lucky enough to do freelance work like this every now and then!

      Brickstuff lightkits come with battery packs that connect to the LED's. You should check out their starter kit, it has everything you would need.

    Niceeeee! Huge congrats and good luck with your next projects! Btw what is the name of the motion control system that you use? I am planning of building it as my next project after finishing my slider haha

    • @AntBandit
      @AntBandit  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks man! I appreciate it, same to you. For motion control I've been lucky enough to have access to some large rigs called the Orbital and Orbital XL (I work at a studio that employs me as a moco operator). I used those rigs for this project, but recently purchased a smaller moco rig for me to use from home called the eMotimo ST4 (it's similar to the slider you're building).

    • @AntBandit
      @AntBandit  Před 3 lety

      It is my main job when I have the work! I currently work as a freelancer in the Atlanta film industry and do everything from DPing, editing, production work on set and other things. The freedom allows me to focus fully on animation jobs when opportunities arise. Eventually I'd love to focus more on directing, but I'm super passionate about a future that involves working in animation somehow.

    • @AntBandit
      @AntBandit  Před 3 lety

      It seems the page where my videos were being hosted has been changed, I was not aware. These videos were intended to be released in partnership with B&N, hence why it takes you to the website where they used to be featured on the main splash page. I assure you I am definitely not collecting any kind of affilitate commission lol.
